Rosedale Farm Bed and Breakfast

Rosedale Farm is an eco-friendly Bed and Breakfast 12 km from the Addo Elephant National Park. We are 45 minutes from Port Elizabeth, in the beautiful Sundays River Valley. This is a malaria free area, where you can have exciting encounters with the 'Big 5'.

You will be welcome in our secure and comfortable thatched cottages, surrounded by citrus groves, which we farm naturally - we have used no dangerous chemicals on the farm since 2000. We have 6 rooms, each with en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. The rooms are big enough to squeeze in an extra bed or cot for your children.

We grow and source as much food locally as what we can. Breakfasts are substantial, and include organic home baked bread, orange juice and preserves. If you need a late breakfast after an early morning game drive, thats fine by us.

We are situated in the heart of Addo, just a couple of minutes from restaurants, pubs, ATM's and a number of fun and educational activities that will make your stay one to remember.

We can also give you a guided tour of the farm, to show you how we farm in harmony with nature.

  • "Warm friendly people"

"The cottages are lovely - new and comfortable and the hosts are charming, friendly people who did everything they could to make us comfortable and at home.<div>Easy distance to Addo, and quite a few restaurants nearby. The kitchen is communal but quite close by and there are tea/coffee facilities in the room. Good breakfast ! Lovely smell of citrus blossom while we were there.</div><div>It is a bit closer to the township than I expected, but the security is very good (electric fences etc.) and seemingly no problems in that regard. Very good value for money.</div><div><br /></div><div><strong>Establishments response:</strong></div><div><br /></div><div><div><em>Thanks for the review, Toni and Mike.</em></div><div><em>You were very understanding about the shower, and we are grateful that you were so cooperative while we were trying to fix it.</em></div><div><em>Dont forget my offer to you for your next stay.</em></div><div><em>Regards,</em></div><div><em>Keith</em></div></div>"
