"Very neat and tidy accommodation. A pity it is not used purely for its intended purpose anymore. Would have been a nice resort. Very close to PE and Grahamstown and in driving distance makes this worth while."

  • "Bushman Sands in a state of disrepair"

    07 January 2013

"Weeds grow on the lawns. The place can do with a coat of paint. 70% of the items on the menu is "out of stock". The water is the taps look like tea and smells bad. They are seriously understaffed to service a handful of visitors. We booked there because they have a spa but this was "temporarily" closed. Such a pity because the area is truly beautiful."

  • "2 nights to remember"

    05 January 2007

"The hotel and staff were 10 star. The restaurant was ok.The food lacked 10 star inspiration and there should be a better way to deter flies over the food area. Not all the wine on the wine list was available. The cruise was a bit of a let down with nothing much to see but it didn't cost much so it was worth it.We are not golf players, merely used a suite for 2 nights, saving us over a thousand pounds of the the cost of staying within the Shamwari Game reserve. The rooms are really brilliant."
