Kwela Bed & Breakfast is situated in the centre of Aliwal North, on the popular N6 route to East London and offers guests a comfortable and luxurious overnight stay.Guests have a choice of staying in one of 10 air-conditioned rooms; there are Standard-, and Executive Rooms, as well as Family Rooms. Each room is equipped with a TV with DStv, a bar fridge as well as tea and coffee facilities and some of the rooms also have hairdryers, microwaves and electric blankets. All of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms that consist of either a bath or a shower or both. The Standard Rooms have double or twin beds. The lovely Executive Rooms are furnished with queen-size beds and the Family Room is ideal for four, as it is furnished with a double and two single beds. The 2nd family rooms can sleep 3 and has a double bed and a single bed Please note breakfast is provided at an additional cost of R120-00pp. Kwela Bed & Breakfast has a communal swimming pool where guests can cool down, as well as braai facilities and safe parking.Although small, Aliwal North offers guests various attractions such as the Kerkplein Museum, the Garden of Remembrance, the Oviston Nature Reserve, the Tussen die Riviere Game Reserve and the Buffelspruit Nature Reserve where guests can view a variety of animals.

"The reception lady was welcoming and Katinka our host was charming. The room was lovely and neat and the bathroom looked bright and clean. BUT - The water ran out the bath before I got in because the plug washer was perished. The shower rose didn't work and the water came out in a single stream. The water leaked through the shower door and saturated the shower mat. The hand basin was loose and wobbled on its stand. We enjoyed a nice cup of tea at the table in the garden but the surrounding yard could do with a lot of attention. SUGGESTION : B&B owners should all spend a night in each room to ensure the facilities are working properly!"

"We had a short but lovely stay here recently. We arrived after 19h00 and found our room to be nicely heated for us. The room was very neat and cosy. Breakfast was terriffic and well worth the money.<div><br /></div><div>All I can recommend maybe is to have a DSTV package that also has a kids channel. I can definitely recommend staying here!</div>"
