"Beautiful place. The rooms are very pretty. Fresh flowers in the room. Absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay."
"Secure location parking"
"The room was fantastic. The shower was broken and we were not informed about the wi fi. Could not open any windows and the room was stuffy. We won't stay here again

Establishments response:

Dear Mike

Thank you for your feedback.
Sorry your experience was not up to standard.
Regards to the Wi-fi in the room folder it states that you can request a wi-fi code at reception.

I will follow up on the shower and the windows.

My sincere apologies once again for any inconvenienced caused.

Regards
La Riviera"
"The rooms were like a dream . I like everything. The area for breakfast was a bit of a anti climax, but the food was good. Thanks for your hospitality although we did not had a opportunity to meet anyone to thank them personally."
"We spent a night on our way to the coast. Superb facilities, spacious, clean and beautiful. Breakfast was amazing. We will be back"
"Nice large room. Looked forward to having a bath in the modern bath, but the plug didnt work. The toilet's cistern was broken, so each flush was manual. Flies...a lot of them. Suggestion, if you are going to have a guest house close to cattle and other livestock, invest in a whole bunch of red top fly traps. No hot water in the morning. It seems as if a lot of money was spent on decor and bedding etc. , but not a lot of experience in actually running a guest house. ESTABLISHMENT RESPONSE: Thank you Theo for the feedback. We had a plumber in the next morning and he could find no fault with the toilet and it functioned 100%. About the hot water we did explain to you that we had trouble with Eskom so without electricity no hot water unfortunately. Our apologies for the inconvenience. We also suggest to keep doors closed at all times because this is a working farm there will be flies. Guesthouse is treated with fly repellent regularly and rooms are provided with insect spray. Once again our apologies, but it was unforeseen circumstances out of our control."
"We had a wonderful rest at LaRiviera. The patio with a view of the dam was a great treat after a long warm day on the road."
"We spent a really lovely night at La Riviera. We were greeted and treated politely and friendly. Our breakfast was hot and tasty and again the staff were friendly and courteous. We will certainly go back. Ten out of ten!"
"Our one night stay was refreshing to say the least. The arrival was friendly and the room excellent so was the breakfast. Would recommend a stay over for anyone travelling inland or to the coast, as this is an oasis in the proverbial desert."
"We had a lovely stopover on the way to the wild coast in December. Our room overlooked the lake which was very tranquil and relaxing. Only downside of the stay was that our room was absolutely full of flies but this could be rectified easily."
