  "5 star rating? no way. Do Safari Now inspect the accommodation before rating it? because Afsaal don't qualify for a star rating. We had Canadians visiting Afsaal and what an embarrassment? they were even complaining about tic bits. The smell of urine was a big problem as well."

  "Geagte Mev /MrBaie Dankie vir die oulike plekkie dit was wonderlik gewees. En ons het elke oomblik van dit geniet. Die View van see was mooi. Ons Wil net onder julle aan dag bring Al die bad kamer se Krane moet Verander word. En die toilet seat. My man werk vir hom self en het Sy eie besigheid. Van handyman Renovations kontrakteur hy Sien baie foutjies raak. Die fan in ons kamer se blades hang en werk nie so lekker nie. Andersins het ons dit geniet. Sal weer kom vakansie Hou daar.   "With regards to unit 910 - the bath room was old and dirty - shower not cleaned and basin stained. The bath tub was also stained. Furthermore the pictures on the website for Afsaal are very deceiving - what you see and what you get is different. We had to walk up 9 floors as there was a power failure which we were not told of until we got to the establishment - a common courtesy would have been to advise your guests so they are prepared. The cell phone number given as a contact for Afsaal did not even exist."

  "Clean and right on the beach, has got everything you need. bath room facilities bit run down.Admin fee hidden in the small print, probably not much of an issue if you are staying longer. Keepers make little effort though. Had to wait 30 min for somebody to come who wasn't the person I had spoken to. handed over the keys, took the cash and left. No showing around whatsoever. Very impersonal experience, almost unfriendly"

  "The only issue was the park next to the flats, school kids gather and make a lot of noise. We were on the 6th floor and the noise was still bothersome. It was frustrating but otherwise it was a great place to stay."

  "I am so disappointed by the treatment of Debbie the receptionist, I have been in contact with her but she did not advise me about the R300 NON-REFUNDABLE admin fee. to my impression I paid R430 in full and there was no information advising of such. imagine driving from JHB to Durban and only being told on the day that there is an out standing R300. on the paper it was hand written, we didn't receive T&C's, we didnt get a copy of rules as well."

  "The flat was adequate, a few minor issues. Tin opener needs to be replaced, was working. There where no dish cloths or kitchen swabs. The major issue is the parking. It is safe however difficult to get in & out. Especially if other guests park incorrectly. I have a small car and had issues parking, if you have a SUV OR DOUBLE CAB, it will be almost impossible to park in the allocated parking bay, if there are other vehicles around. Except for the parking, the place is good. Will go back if there is a different parking slot. Also would like a shower, even one above the tub. Also please include admin fee on quotation so it maybe all paid for at the same time. Rates misleading if admin fees are not included."

  "Well I have to say that the start was a but disappointing. We had Room 108 booked and where given 402 which compare to the first floor room overlooked more to the site. In check in we were handed the wrong set of keys and stood 2 hrs in front of out apartment trying to get in after a 12 hr drive and a 4 year old. Thanks to App entire caretaker we finally got I to our room.All provided contact numbers were not being answered and the lady at front desk left for home seconds after we arrived The next day was a bit of argument regarding the keys as the front desk lady didn't have a clue which key was needed for the security gate. With that said, the apartment was clean specious and well equipped. Just bring as much food and cooking stock from home as the local Shopritrbis very expensive"

  "The rotang chairs are very uncomfortable, and there use to be towls which was changed without notifying us since we frequent use the unit. Cockroaches could be seen and noice made by water (hot) when tap opened"

  "Flat was neat and clean, but stove kept on tripping and microwave and TV did not work. DV board in kitchen was not secured to the wall. Owner needs to replace the very old stove. We reported the faulty appliances and the office said they would report it to the owners. Staff was very friendly."
