Situated in tranquil Sherwood Crescent on a hill overlooking Amanzimtoti Green Belt and sport fields and the Indian Ocean, you can find a mythical place where many great people have rested. Avalon Guest House is a cost effective and trendy B&B located within a short distance from shopping centres, the beach and a variety of restaurants, bars and clubs.
Newly built, we offer eight air-conditioned double bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, five with their own entrance and three overlooking Hutchinson Park. Guests are guaranteed ample luxury accommodation and our rooms are serviced daily.
Features include parking behind locked gates, a magical pool, an indoor bar, and Internet access. Wi-Fi is also available in public spaces. Our comfortable dining room, with spectacular sea and tranquil rolling green views, ensures comfortable living at its best. All our guests have been delighted on arrival and have left us vowing to return.

02 March 2017"Received a great welcome. Our room although a tad smaller than expected was comfortable and cosy. The breakfast was lovely, delicious and made to order. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the views due to the bad weather in Durban during our stay. Would have loved to have a fridge in the room though. Other than that, we had a great stay. P.S. It has a rather steep driveway"
