Kalahari Sands Guest House

Kalahari Sands Guest House offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in Askham. The main house was built in 1955 and was built by the same lady that started the school in Askham and played a big role with the development of the town. This safe environment is ideal for a quiet breakaway.

All of the self-catering units are fully equipped and contain either one, two or three bedrooms. Most of the bathrooms contain a shower, with one of the units containing both a bath and a shower. The rooms are air-conditioned and contain tea and coffee-making facilities. In addition, off-street parking is available and guests are welcome to make use of the swimming pool.

"We arrived late in the evening after having exited the Twee Rivieren Camp only as it was closing. We were greeted by our lovely host and she showed us the two cottages we would be staying in. Both of the cottages had everything you need, it was also really clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend this lovely location on your way to the Kalahari or on your way back."

"Most pleasant. If you are looking for comfortable, clean and safe accommodation before going into the Kgalagadi we can highly recommend Kalahari Sands Guest House. We had a self catering unit and it was well fitted out. Parking right in front of the unit so didn't have to unpack everything. Would go there again ! Also a great coffee shop in Askham"
