  "The place was fine for the first 2 days until we found our room not properly cleaned and tried to complain to the cleaning lady on duty. Instead of doing her job she had a dialogue with my husband about what being clean means. She refused to change the sheets and gave them to my husband for us to change them ourselves. I've never seen such a bad attitude and unfortunately the supervisor told us that she is not the owner."

Waking up with the waves crashing just a few meters below, feeling the mist and breathing in the salty taste of the Indian Ocean, it is rest to the soul to draw back the curtain and feast onto breathtaking views.   "We given a warm welcome by the gentleman called Sandile. He showed us the room and handed us the keys. Got our luggage into the room. As we were settling in we were not impressed by what we saw.1. The place was dusty with clear signs that it was not cleaned prior.2. The deep freezer was filthy, it still had blood stains as it seemed like someone had stored meat and no one touched it afterwards. Dust on top of the fridge showed clearly that it was never touched on top.3. Kids bed were ok, the problem was the main bed, had blood stains.4. They did however resolve and treated us good over the days. Not so bad afterall."

  "The separate unit that is rented by the Dolphin Point B & B was described as a duplex, I believe.We were pleasantly surprised to see that is was more like what we would describe as a condo unit in the U.S.It was simple, clean, & comfortable for our family of 5 (parents with 3 kids in their 20s) while we stayed in Durban for our World Cup trip.There is a nice, private patio/deck area, and the access to the beautiful beach was all that had been promised.We definitely wished that we had more time to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area.Maybe next time!"

We booked another hotel for the last days of our stay in Durban but canceled that one and chose to spend our last days at dolphin point as we enjoyed it this much.   "We had a very nice weekend at Dolphin Point. Right from the start our group of 10 people were welcomed by the hospitality of both Andre and Debbie. All our problems were taken care of, a restaurant was booked and on Sunday we had the full use of the living room facilities. When one of us forgot something, Debbie made sure that it was sent by courier to our next accommodation- a great and extra service which we particularly appreciated. Andre's "it is NOT a problem" stayed with us for the rest of our stay in RSA.Kind regards,Rinske Drayer"

The setting was excellent, the rooms where lovely and cosy. Breakfast was good. The whole surrounding and atmosphere was excellent. We got to see the whales and dolphins again on Saturday morning, wonderful experience.Very nice place to be at, must go there again."
