"We really enjoyed our stay at Daberas Guest Farm! We are interested in geology and got a very interesting and nice excursion through a wonderful landscape. It was a highlight of our holiday! We loved the house, the clear skies full of stars and the wilderness feeling. Thank you very much, Hanneke and Kobus!"

"The photos and information for this accommodation is misleading. It shows information and photos of the lodge and the creates the impression that it is the standard of accommodation. The farmhouse we stayed in is not at the same standard. The lights were not working, and although it is located next to the Augrabies nature park, it is about 55km beyond the entrance of which 35km is on a gravel road in very poor condition."

  • "Too short a stay on an amazing farm"

"Magnificent scenery, lovely accommodation. Kobus and Hannecke are very friendly, helpfull and excellent hosts. Kobus is extremely knowledgeable about the geography and fauna and flora of the area and took us on some beautiful scenic drives. Will definitely visit longer next time!"

"We stayed longer than planned as it was such a nice tranquil place and just to enjoy the lovely environment too. The owners were super friendly and their love for the place is infectious and inspirational. The sunset and geology tours was awesome too. Bit far and long drive on a gravel road so take things with you but its definitely well worth the effort! Thanks to Hannecke and Kobus, and all the best to you!"

  • "A gem of the beaten track"

"What a wonderful stay! We were a group of 10 that stayed in the big farm house on the property. The house was roomy and with a big kitchen. We spent lovely meals around the big kitchen table. There is a lovely fire pit to braai at. Due to almost zero light polution we spent evenings watching the brilliant stars.
We had car problems and the owners went out of their way to assist us.
We will definitely go back and stay even longer.
The road to the farm is a gravel road and you do need a vehicle with some ground clearance."
