  "Our dogs enjoyed the grass field and played themselves tired. There is enough space and still private. We enjoyed the smell of pine needles and wood. The cottage is very cozy."

  "Baie dankie Ann dat jy die stukkie hemel op aarde met ons gedeel het!! Die natuur is pragtig, die houthuisie waarin ons met ons 2 tieners gewoon het was heerlik gesellig. Als skoon en netjies en 'n groot bonus was dat ons 2 viervoet kinders ook kon saam kuier. Ons kom beslis weer!!"

  "If its peace and quiet with amazing views and fresh air you are looking for this is the place for you. <br />We found this an unpretentious spot that catered to our needs amidst natural surroundings. We enjoyed the scenery whilst watching black eagles circling overhead before appreciating the sunset over a glass of wine. The cabins are clean and servicable although the bedding had almost reached its expiry date. We brought a coffee plunger,wine glasses and towels as they are not supplied. Don't forget the wood for an outside fire even if you don't braai. Have recommended it to friends who want to get away from it all.&nbsp; <br />"

  "We stayed there in November 2013. The owners are beautiful people,the rates reasonable, the accommodation superb and the views magnificent, unbeatable, awesome etc etc etc. We will be back."

  "I would like to start off by saying that I was not happy with the way Anne has treated my sister and her husband, I have booked mountain mist as a honeymoon gift for them, I have paid in full. My sister and her husband left the 18 December 2012 to stay at mountain mist for 4 day and 3 nights however they did not end up there, the directions that was given was incorrect, and due to them not having signal all the time is was hard for me to get hold of them, I then notified Anne that they are lost as that was the message I recieved from my sister, she (Anne) informed me she would get hold of my sister, which she did and she confirmed that my sister is lost, she insisted that my sister follow on the gravel road she admitted that they are hard to find, however she did not give any land marks nor did she indicate how long or the distance they had to travel, it was then approching 9pm and the my sister feard she was not safe, I informed Anne about this i have the sms proving that she was aware that they were lost and said she spoke to my sister briefly. Eventually my sister had to drive out of Arora to find a place to stay, after driving 8 hours. The next day my sister phoned Anne and she was extremly rude on the telephone insisting that my sister nor myself let her know that they were lost, after mentioning to her that I have the sms to prove she was aware she dismissed it and just put the telephone down on my sister, to me it indicated that she was ok since she has recieved payment. I was utterly disgusted by the way she has treated myself a paying custermor as well as my sister, I do not think it is fair also it was there honeymoon a time for them to relax and not sit with stress, I do hope that you will take this matter further as I paid and recieved disgusting service I dont recommend mountain mist to anyone and will take this matter up further if I do not get refunded."

  "The view is beautiful but it is not the money worth for what you pay. Some of the cutlery was dirty and there were not enough for 4 persons. The toilet is between the two bedrooms and you walk through the toilet to the other bedroom. The kitchen is very small."

  "We spent three lovely days in peaceful beautiful surroundings. A much needed break from the hustle of everyday living. Gorgeous views and beautiful flowers and birds. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable and we received a very friendly welcome from Anne. A wonderful place that will see us again!"
