Badplaas Golf Club Guest House & Lodge has a challenging 9-hole golf course and it is located at the foot of the Hlumu Hlumu Mountains. It is en route to the Kruger National Park and only 4 km from the Aventura Spa Resort.

Our four-bedroom guest house accommodation overlooks the stunning golf course and surroundings. The Guest House is fully equipped for self-catering and it can be rented as individual accommodation rooms or as a whole unit. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children in these units. The Lodge is adjacent to the clubhouse, swimming pool and lapa. It offers eight twin rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. A private lounge area is also available. This is ideal for smaller golf groups.

The clubhouse has a fully licensed bar, DStv, a restaurant, pool table, dart board and verandah. The restaurant has a variety of meals on offer to suit all tastes. We cater for conferences, functions and weddings on request. The swimming pool and lapa offer a relaxing environment in the beautiful surroundings and we offer private functions and braai facilities.

The Badplaas Valley offers a host of unforgettable experiences to its visitors. Activities in the area include the Big 5, river rafting, fly fishing, botanical gardens, zoology, mining, palaeontology, geology and cultural points of interest.

"Security is non exciting. Slept alone in a building with a front door that could not lock. No cellphone network in rooms. Staff building on the sight and no front door to lock. Also sleepibg on the same pemices. The owners live safe and sound 800 m away. Very scary. For what i paid is definitly not what i was expecting. The room had a moldy smell.. i will never stay over there again. Paid way to much for such a unpleasant experience."

"We battled to find the direction signage from the main road to Badplaas Golf Club Guest house & Lodge and we were gratefull that it was still daylight when we arrived. The setting was very pretty and pleasant with great views of the valley below. The staff were very friendly and the dinner we had was excellent. The double room looked a bit tired and could do with a revamp.<br />"

"Well it's a nice place that just needs cleaning up on the pool side. I enjoyed my stay there I would come back but maybe after 20 years. Truly speaking it is a nice place but the rooms are bad. It's actually a place for guys only not couples."

"Disappointed in the so called luxury accommodation. Rooms not according to high standard as advertised. Only one face towel in the bathroom. Fortunately we brought swimming towels. Only one channel on the TV. The same channel as in the bar. No Guest House. Menu is overpriced for what is on offer. However the golf course is of a high standard."

"We went as a group to celebrate my 21st. The accommodation was excellent and affordable. The braai/lappa was amazing and spacious for all kinds of silliness we got up to. What made it for my friends and I were the staff. We were there for 3 days and evidence of our previous day was always erased! The breakfasts were amazing with great friendly service. Thanks so much again Ben and Star for the amazing time!"

"We had a relaxing weekend. It was the perfect getaway from the city. The host and food were amazing, It was home away from home but much more peaceful. I enjoyed the golf course and waking up to the beautiful scenery everyday. Its a goof thing I came with a 4x4 though didn't know how much off road I would be doing. Well done guys keep up the good work, I look forward to visiting again."
