Inverness Farm is centrally situated in the heart of the popular Midlands Meander Route, within easy reach of the finest restaurants, schools, spas, galleries and wedding venues in the country.Whether you want to overnight en-route to the coast or inland, explore the numerous attractions of the Midlands Meander, or just to relax and unwind in our tranquil surroundings, come and enjoy the fresh country air and our warm hospitality.We have four luxurious self-catering cottages that are beautifully appointed, each with their own private garden, entrance and parking. The cottages have either queen-size or king-size beds and extra mattresses or sleeper couches can be opened up for children upon request. All the cottages have access to braai facilities and firewood is supplied; please bring your own charcoal.All our bathrooms feature good quality thick and thirsty white towels, complementary shampoos, body lotions and soaps. Heaters, thick duvets, fireplaces and electric blankets are provided for extra cosiness during those chilly winter evenings.For your additional comfort we provide tea and coffee, homemade biscuits, fresh fruit and flowers in each room, hairdryers, welcoming sherry, goodnight chocolates on the pillows, and numerous other personal touches to make your stay a pleasant and memorable one. Snuggle up with our crisp white percale linen, complimentary sherry, electric blankets and warm duvets. Wander in the fields amongst our resident horses, meet our calves or get acquainted with our special chickens, birds and bunnies. Situated on top of a hill overlooking the beautiful Caversham Valley, we are blessed with magnificent 360-degree views. From the early morning mists in the valleys below to the glorious late afternoon sunsets on the surrounding mountains and forests, we are wonderfully spoilt and always in awe of our spectacular surroundings.

"<p>We stopped over on route from Ballito to Johannesburg. Jayne follow-up about our arrival and made arranged our access. We spend the afternoon in lovely shade reading and relaxing. Followed bya picnic dinner in style.</p><p>The time passed much too quickly, soon is was bed-time, a lovely king-size comfortable bed. Woke early next morning and strolled around taking in the beautiful scenery and taking photos of veld-flowers. Much too soon it was time to pack-up and depart.</p><p>We will return!</p>"

"Jayne was a wonderful host. She checked in with us before, during and after our stay to make sure everything was just right, and yet struck the right balance of not being invasive in any way. Summer Son cottage is perfect for a couple wanting well designed, self catering accommodation with a cool, quirky atmosphere, as a resting point between Midlands Meander adventures. We had a lovely, comfortable stay and were well looked after. The sherry, coffee, biscuits and rusks were a big hit, as was a chocolate on our pillows each night. Thanks Jayne, for a brilliant long weekend which will be remembered for a long time!"

"Just a wee note to say that we had another great holiday booked via SafariNow.com. Our stay with Jayne at the Midlands Inverness was mind blowing. Jayne was really welcoming and the cottage was lovely. We came back well rested and will definitely be going back to the Midlands Inverness as Jayne's personal touches made the cottage feel like home, plus having her dogs around was a bonus.
