Balule River Camp

Balule River Camp has been operating as a commercial lodge for the last 13 years. The camp has six rooms and accommodates a maximum of 12 guests. This ensures an exclusive and intimate experience of the African bush.

our lodge has six bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and modern facilities. The screen doors ensure closeness to nature and keep the insects outside. There is a wooden deck in front of all the rooms overlooking the Olifanst River. The main house consists of a dining room, living room and a library. Breakfast and lunch is served on the main house deck overlooking the river. Dinner is served next to an open fire in the boma area.

Our lodge is one of a few private lodges in South Africa situated on the perennial Olifants River. Because of this hippos and crocodiles are regular sightings from the entire camp area. Our fantastic, dedicated employees are on their toes to meet your every need. Our guides passion for nature is contagious and they share their experiences and knowledge with eager.

All rates include accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner. A once off R 50 conservation fee is payable on arrival at the reserve entrance.
