  "View is tremendous. Cottage clean and very comfortable with fireplace for cold winter nifgts. Walking in the Mountains was super. Lots more to do for more adventurous.Host Allan went out of his way to make stay enjoyable. Unique shared kitchen/dining facilities where guests get to know each other. Pity the trout dams are not operational (clean and stocked) and the garden is in need of some TLC, as these improvements would add something extra"

  "We had a super stay at the cottages. Allan was a great host and the stunning homestead took our breath away. Will go back again one day for sure. Although its a long trek to get to the cottages, the surrounding area offers so much with regards to landscapes, scenery and awesome mountain passes. Ideal for photographers and 4x4 and offroad enthusiasts."

  "We had a fantastic stay with our kids at Bidstone Cottage. With the description it is an easy ride ( there are a lot of sign-posts as well). <br/>We stayed in the cottages but used the kitchen of the farm house. All neat and clean and we loved especially the big kitchen with the old stove. <br/>First day we enjoyed Allan's famous Pizza - especially our kids loved the Banana Pizza, the dogs and the box of Lego in Allan's house.<br/>Next day Allan took us to swim in the river, showed us the rock art, carried our son who was not convinced swimming through tunnels in ice cold water :-). The rock pool is perfect for a sundowner. <br/><br/>Allan was a fabulous host and we really felt at home. We enjoyed his great hospitality, the place, the landscape, the lamb shank which he organized for us and we are sure we will be back soon !"

  "We had a fabulous stay. Jules fed us delicious meals and sent us home with divine pizza's for the road and a pack of her home-smoked bacon, sausage and lamb chops! Allan is a fantastic guide and took us to places in the area that few people have had the privilege of seeing. The surrounding area is truly stunning. Our cottage was huge and comfy and supplied with wood to make a fire. 10/10"
