  "Lighthouse Accommodation receives five stars on all points. From the beginning Michelle was prompt in responding to the query, and very friendly and kind in all our dealings. The accommodation was beautiful (with a "new" feel), spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and had so many "extras", such as chocolates on the beds, rolls and other snacks in the kitchen and fridge. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you so much!!"

  "<p>The directions got us lost as one stepwas omitted - from Beaconhurst Drive you have to turn left into Hillcrest Drive (which was not mentioned)before finding Canna Crescent (or Impala Road), but this was not a hassle. The accommodation is delightful! The area is quiet and safe and the flatlet is totally private (there are two rooms but when we were there no one was in the second room). There is a beautiful lush tropical border between the stoep and the exteriorwall and a well-equipped boma under thatch to the side. </p><p>The room was tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed, armchair and ottoman. The bathroom waslarge and decoratedwith items pertaining to the sea - with even a small Lighthouse ! The bathwater took a while to drain, but that was a minor. The 'kitchen-in-a-cupboard' was well stocked and everything one needed was at hand. Theowner, Michelle,is a charming host who welcomed us with warmth and made us feel at home. Her little touches, like chocolates on the soft folded towels on the bed and the personal delivery of fresh rolls, juice and yoghurt to add to the fridge all made this visit special.</p><p>Our stay in East London was short - just overnight, but I would highly recommend The Lighthouse and would return there and stay longer next time! Thank you Michelle for your friendly and professional hospitality!</p>"

The outside shower is a great feature but not for bulky people!<div>Hospitality is great, location in a very good neighbourhood easily accessible to all the nice shops and restaurants. Its a stiff walk to the nearest beach, but East London offers so many beach options within close driving distance anyway.</div><div>Highly recommended!</div>"

  "I have been disappointed when I cannot get a room at Lighthouse, tried so many other places and take my advice there is no better place to stay than at The Lighthouse!<br>Pity Michelle never had a lot more rooms to offer, as the place is booked full more frequently, I have no other option but to book elsewhere and nothing compares to this comfortable self-catering home-from-home. In a nut shell, who on earth can offer full bouquet DStv, lockup garage, braai facility, all kitchen utensils, microwave, stove, pots, pans, porridge's, milk, eggs, yogurts, and and and, the list is endless, this place for under R600 outshines any hotel or B&B in East London and lets not forget, secure, clean, hygienic, peaceful, etc."

  "I stay at many B&B's and most (understandably) are in it mostly for the income. Michelle does it for love and it is evident. Although I was "self catering" there was plenty of food provided and a treat every single day. I highly recommend Lighthouse."

  "I travel extensively and have never been to any other accommodation where I can say I feel at home like the lighthouse. I always feel comfortable their, enjoy all that is to offer at such a reasonable rate. Michelle is very kind and is serious about pleasing all her guests that she provides me with a lockable garage, all can enjoy full DSTV, braai facility, jungle (outdoor) shower and there is always something nice in the fridge. My only place to stay in East London."

  "My husband and I recently stayed at Lighthouse, only for 3 nights, but really enjoyed it. The place is everything you need for a family holiday and great value for money. Michelle takes care of her guests and adds little extras into the place, like cheese, yoghurt, milk, ect, that you don't normally receive at any other Self Catering place. It's close to the lagoon and other amenities. Thanks for a great stay... we'll be back!"
