  "I stopped over at Olive Grove Guest Farm on my trip from Jhb to Cape Town. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation and the really excellent service and would happily visit again. The room was a good size and nicely furnished. The farm is attractive and the guest areas inviting. I enjoyed dinner but found the limited choices for breakfast a bit disappointing but that did not detract from the excellent impression I had overall."

  "We overnighted in one of the self catering cottages at the Olive Grove Guest farm for the second time. The place has a lot of facilities, including the trails, which keep the kids happy. Its distance from town ensures quiet and peaceful sleep, but you must buy everything you need in town before proceeding to the farm."

  "We overnighted at this lovely olive farm on the N12 just outside Beaufort West on our way to PE.<br/>We booked a self catering unit and did not eat in the restaurant.We were provided with wood and fire starter for our braai and really enjoyed the setting, particularly the amazing stars.There was a waxing moon with Venus in all her glory just to the left of the moon.Stunning.<br/>The Porcupine trail is lovely to walk- good shoes necessary and some minor inclines.<br/>We bought a number of their olive products in the shop.<br/>Overall a great place to stopover or weekend.<br/>"

  "What a pleasure it was to stay at Olive Grove. The location and facilities was impeccable. We enjoyed every single moment at this Guest Farm - even the owner were hospitable enough to bring us a snack way after dinner whilst we are having a nightcap (and starving). No rush or pressure was put forward when we had to check out! Service like this hard to find and there's many accommodation facilities that can learn a thing or 2 from Olive Grove. Would certainly recommend to anyone wanting to overnight or stay a while in Beaufort West. Have a look out for the olives and related products on sale!"

  "Stayed at the Grove overnight on our journey to Stellenbosch. We were so impressed by the facilities and the hospitality of our hosts that we decided to stay there on our way back to Pretoria. This was not part of our initial travel plan but an on the spur decision rather late in the afternoon on our return trip. A quick cell call confirmed that a room was available. We arrived at about 21h00 that evening and found a friendly staff member waiting for us. Excellent service and great meals. The Grove is now our preferred stopover to the Cape.and plan to spend a more prolonged stay therethere on our next trip. "

  "The three days spent at this guest farm was wonderful. It was a wonderful part of our honeymoon. The accommodation at the guest farm was great. The room was well decorated, well furnished and spotless. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was wonderful, true South African cuisine. The guest house even prepared their braai facilities for our use, with well prepared food and attention to detail on our second night.On request we received a packed breakfast for an early morning game drive into the Karoo National Park. Although this is a working farm we didn't have any disturbance from any of the farm workers during our stay. If you do stay at this farm, do buy some of their great produce. In my opinion their olives and olive oil taste better then the products you buy at Woolworths.I would recommend to anyone making the trip from the Cape back to Johannesburg to stop over in Beaufort West, but don't stay in the town. "

  "The units wereimmaculate in cleanliness and fittings, much like a home from home, would have liked it to be a little more rustic, regardless the stay was very nice and the evening meal excellent. Would recommend that a visit would not be complete without a sundowner on the top of the Porcupine Trail. Purchased many Olive products for home use."
