Elements Lodge 150

Elements Lodge 150 is situated in the heart of the bushveld, on the exquisite Elements Private Golf Reserve, just 16 km from Bela Bela. The lodge is a lovely two-bedroom house that can sleep four guests in comfort.

The air-conditioned rooms are furnished with a double bed or two single beds respectively and have en-suite bathrooms with baths and showers, as well as outdoor showers. Linen and towels are provided and the open-plan kitchen is modernly furnished and equipped with a fridge-freezer, a stove, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and tea and coffee facilities. Guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table and the lounge is comfortably furnished with a TV with DStv.

Guests can relax on the deck outside and watch the wildlife or sunset while sipping on a refreshing drink, or sit around the open boma and enjoy the cosiness of a large fire while watching the night sky. The lodge also has a private splash pool and parking is available for two cars. Unfortunately pets are not allowed and the unit is non-smoking.

A restaurant is located in the estate and guests can play a round of golf on one of South Africa's top-rated golf courses in the natural bushveld, or take the short drive to Bela Bela which offers the lovely Warmbaths, as well as various game reserves or game parks in the area.

"We booked a 2-night stay in Elements Lodge 150, arriving on a Sunday afternoon.On arrival, there was no sign of our booking - it appeared there was a breakdown in communications between the agent handling our booking and the Elements resort. The keys for Lodge 150 were nowhere to be found, and the agent was not available to help sort things out.Fortunately for us, the manager of Elements, Pierre, readily found us another identical lodge to stay in, and hence our holiday was saved.The lodge accommodations at Elements are all excellent, the setting very quiet and peaceful, and the golf course is exceptional. Add to this the willingness of the manager and his staff to go the extra mile, and I recommend Elements to anyone wanting a very relaxing few days away from the city."

"Beautiful property let down by a lack of maintenance and poor cleaning services.I contacted the owner before writing this review and they have confirmed that the challenges we faced with locks not working and general maintenance throughout the property had all been addressed. They outsource their cleaning services and have been badly let down by their service provider as the property was not clean. However, I believe that the owners are taking the report we gave them seriously and will be ensuring that future visitors will not be disappointed.It is a beautiful home set in such a peaceful location. I really hope that they can get the challenges sorted out as we would love to go back. Having stayed in different homes at Elements, they have a high standard to attain but with a bit of effort I believe they can get there."
