  "Room set up was great especially if you family. What you need to improve your base and mattress my body is sore they are not comfortable at all. Your bath are scary just the thought of sitting there after the long driver. Shower is licking water all over the bathroom. I'm not sure about other rooms but room 10 please management give yourself time just sit on that bed and look a bath tub there its really terrible"

  "The photos of this place is a lie. We were 5 ladies and never felts so unsafe and dirty before in a place and we travel a lot. I would not recommend this place to any one. There were cockroaches in our room, the air conditioning was stuck on 24 degrees. The bath I would not even bath my pets in. The swimming pool was dirty. parking was unsafe and we got blocked by a guy who was still sleeping in his taxi when we wanted to leave. People swimming in their lingerie. Do not book here! Wish there was an option for zero stars."

  "When i booked and got my confirmation, was told ground floor, was put on an upper floor.The flat had no Tv remote had to ask for one, no frying pan, place had cockroaches running around.Housekeeping was not done nicely.Very noisey, pool water was not clean."

  "I was given C2 whose geyser did not work, no room telephone, broken cuboards, dark lighting and poor TV signal. was then inconvenienced by being moved to C19 after I have unpacked. C19 was far better than C2 but still, the leaking toilet cistern was noisy all night. All in all I don't think I will return to this fascility. The staff is okay but they are let down by lack of management/supervision."

  "The workers are very friendly and helpful .i was moved to 3 different rooms because either the toilet dint work , curtain fell down. The carpeted rooms are smelly. There are coackroaches running around especially in the cabanas.The place needs a complete renovation . I was bitten under the sheets i don't know by what but had swelling that looked like spider bites.Other wise Ivan be better if renovated, Things are old like the tvs, carpets are old . I hope this was helpful to improve the place."

  "We were not happy about the room. Toilet was malfunctioning on the first night,however it was repaired the next evening. Curtains were smelling of mold. Remote was not working. The water in the shower was cold. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. There was no Wi-Fi. The staff was friendly."

  "the room was cleaned but had cockroaches, we were greeted by 4 of them on the table as we set, and a dozen came out of the hanged artwork, I didn't wait to see where else these crippies will come out, I went straight to reception and told them I was leaving, the receptionist told me they do not give refunds, I asked him to email his gm, I still haven't received my money nor a call from them.I would never make the mistake of ever booking there, the caretaker laughed at me when I told her there were cockroaches in our room and told me she doesn't have doom"

  "I only stayed for one night. Hotel is actually pretty, nice pool/ restaurant area. My only issue was the room I stayed in, it was clearly very old/dingy and needs some touching up. I noticed that the larger rooms were quite modern, but mine wasn't. Pease get rid of the carpets and the curtains, try getting new furniture, redoing the bathroom. Also WiFi doesn't reach that room, no signal. But otherwise I had an ok stay, only downside was the dingy room."

  "The hotel was terrible. Nothing like we've seen on the website. Dirty carpets on the floor, dirty towels, the room wasn't cleaned for day one. Breakfast was the worst, only one container of salt, one had to go from table to table requesting salt from other diners. No teaspoons on the tables. Taps don't work, doors don't close properly. It's a good thing we didn't order their dinner or else we'd be having stomach bug...Disaster!"

  "The staff were very friendly &amp; helpful.<div>The room is very old &amp; not clean. This was definitely not worth the price or what we expected. Will not recommend to anyone. Hotel needs a revamp desperately. Kettle was very old &amp; dirty. Cups &amp; spoons too. Outside was dark with no lights on in passages &amp; outside areas we had to walk through to get from our car to the room. If we had another option we would have left to go elsewhere</div>"

  "We booked a weekend away and although the facilities could do with an upgrade, the accommodation was still neat and comfortable.<br>The staff were extremely friendly and helpful as there were some noisy neighbours and the Manager provided us with back up rooms at the hotel in case we had any issues with the noisy neighbours.<br>Overall it was very relaxing and we enjoyed the cabanas."

  "I did not enjoy my stay at the hotel at all. The hotel rooms are very old and dirty. I struggled to bath my kids in the dirty bath and I had a 5 months old baby. Had I not paid the full amount I could have looked for somewhere else to stay. Bela bela is a very nice place to visit complemented with good accommodation."

  "They say first impressions last....The entrance was dirty and staff not helpful and friendly. Full of excuses due to internet booking. The room....terrible. I won't let even my dog sit on the couch. Mattress stink. I need to call household to come and clean bathroom and toilet. The toilet was used...We stayed only one night...the quests very noisy!Will never see me again."

  "We recently stayed at Elephant springs hotel and our experience was not pleasant.The service was bad, our room was not neat at all, the overall hotel not well looked after. I would not recommend the place to anyone.   "Checked into the Cabanas on 21 Sept 2013. Sliding door lock was broken; The main bedroom bed felt wobbly and base was broken. Noisy and chaotic atmosphere. Requested another room, and we were moved to the main hotel. At least we could sleep without the noise. Left the hotel room for some leisurely activities on the morning of the 22nd. Came back at 14H30 to find that it had not been made up! On our way to our room when passing through the restaurant area just outside the pool, we noticed that the tables were still as dirty as they were after breakfast. I could not tolerate it anymore and we checked out that afternoon even though we had booked and paid up to the 24th Sept.The parking lot walls are broken down. The security guard is not consistently at the gate - he looked like he was socializing with the noisy patrons - this added to the stress of our night there as we feared for the safety of our vehichle.I still feel robbed of my money and the holiday we were so looking forward to."

  "The service we had was poor. Our booking was mix up, we booked hotel, but between safari and Elephant spring there were miss communication and we were given a cabana room which we did not book for, and worse enough, the doors for the cabana room we were given was not working, it was broken.we were moved to hotel for our night2, hotel did not have Towels, we requested to have towels and took them 8hours exact to bring towels to our room.The toilet was broken, water all over the bathroom, we asked for maintenance and no one ever pitched.So all in all, the service for us was EXTREMELY POOR, and I will never book a stay at Elephant spring."

  "Very unhappy about the service, I booked 3 cabanas and in everyone there was a problem! I even lost so much food cause the frigde was not working in cabana 12 and the bathroom sink was clogging, in cabana 14 the shower was not workn very well & the fridge was not work there as well and it was replaced, cabana 16,the fan was not workn, shower head is pathetic,stove took about 3hrs to prepare a meal! Very unhappy , was the worst holiday ever!I expect everything to be a whole lot better and quality equipment!"

  "I arrived there in friday,we were booked in room 10,all the beds were a mess(broken and out of shape)while we were about to sleep, we found out that the main door key doesn't lock from inside.We were then moved over to the next door room (room 11) where there was no fridge. We had to leave our food in the fridge,they promised to bring the same fridge to our room the next day, the next day we had to keep phoning to get the fridge moved and eventually the fridge was moved around 14:30. The main bedroom's bed was as bad as the beds in room 10. On sunday morning the electricity kept on tripping but it was sorted asap. The microwave plate was also missing."

  "The Hotel is generally acceptable with the basic facilities in place. However,on my arrival I was checked into a room #1, and the room was not ready for occupation with towels not placed at the right place. Worse,the shower was being renovated and was not ready for use and still dirty. Moved to #3, the key got broken when unlocking the door, and told I need to pay R200 for the broken key, not lost key. Those keys are very cheap to replace, and would never pay R200 for a broken key and not even for a lost replaceable key. Not Impressed at all."

  "My family and I spent a long weekend at the Elephant Springs Hotel and despite a few glitches it was a pleasant stay overall. Positives are a nice three bedroom apartment at a decent price, a wonderful friendly atmosphere amongst Cabanas guests as all shared the braai and open space area around the pool and the walking distance from shops and Forever Resort. Negatives though are that it is not children friendly. There is no fencing around the pool and steep steps inside the room where a toddler can fall from. Leaking bathroom. But again, overall a very pleasant experience."
