"<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: calibri; color: black;">We celebrated our1 year wedding anniversary at Itaga and it was stunning. The hospitably that wereceived from arrival until departure was superb. The team at Itaga interactwith every guest and they make you feel at home. Included in the accommodationis a late afternoon game drive, of which both Danie and Rochelle have excellentknowledge on the wildlife as well as a good sense of humour. During our stay weexperienced nothing but great service from everyone, we even requested certaindietary requirements and it was never an issue. The food was absolutelydelicious. The accommodation was nice and cosy and offered an indoor as well asoutdoor shower. One morning we were greeted by Nyalas outside our bedroomwindow and we were also fortunate to see the klipspringer in its naturalhabitat inside the lodge. Besides the watering hole Itaga also has a stunningviewing deck and the sunsets you experience are breathtaking. Itaga is truly anamazing place.</span></p>"

  • "The best hospitality"

    05 January 2015

"We stayed here for 3 nights as a family of four with children of 12 and 14. The hospitality of Liesel, Rochelle and Chris was the warmest, friendliest and most relaxing I have ever experienced. Nothing is too much trouble. They are so helpful, thoughtful, friendly, and funny - without being over bearing. We had the best time. The lodge is so relaxing. The service is 5* but at the same time it retains a genuine, unstuffy, home from home but in the bush feel to it.The rooms are great. We adored the inside/outside showers. The game drives were good even though summer is not the best time for spotting game I know. Chris' knowledge was an education. The food is also lovely home cooking. The afternoon pre-game drive snacks were a particular favourite.Highly recommended. Super friendly place. Would love to go back."

  • "Long weekend in Itaga"

    29 April 2008

"The stay overall was very nice, very friendly staff, excellent hospitality. Rooms were nice, however not very big, food very tasty, rangers professional. The garden and the lookout to the waterhole is excellent. The horse riding activity was one of the best we had in our life. Regarding the game drives, beside of the overall good impression about the professional guiding, my negative surprise was, that the beside of Nyala, Kudu, Impala and Warhogs, the park has relatively small variety of antelopes, and only small population of elephant, buffalo, hyena and the lions are visible only in an enclosure, despite that according to the web homepage, the my expectation was that the lions are free. We also missed the possibility to have a walking safari."

  • "Very Romantic"

    02 January 2007

"We had a wonderful time at Itaga Game Lodge. Everything is beautiful with a lot of attention to detail, food was excellent and plentiful, and game drives were extremely pleasant. The weather was not very cooperative during our trip and the game seemed to be hiding from the rain a bit, but we still had a lovely time and felt very pampered. Wonderful Staff. I would recommend this lodge to anyone, especially a couple looking for a romantic weekend getaway."
