  ".... so we wanted a weekend away with bush, pet friendly and a little walk to see birds and maybe a buck or 2 which at a glance this seemed to tick all the boxes ... what we got was the hostess which was super surprised I had my little dog with (which I had confirmed prior would be fine and the reason for choosing the establishment ) no bush walks allowed actually not really allowed to leave our little area at all without being told where to go ... no wild life except some farm anilmals and we were pretty much on the main road ! Felt like I was staying in someones backyard for the weekend... as for the accommodation well felt like I was staying in someones family weekend house ... it was dark gloomy dusty and not all that comfortable ... kids were bored ! Not much to do at all ... not sure who I would recommend this to ? Tried to make the most of it but think a braai in my own backyard would have been better and cheaper !!! And a lot less stressful and noisy ... sorry but very dissapointed :("

  "The house was not accommodating 8 people, as promised, from cutlery and cockery, blankets to towels. And to think i paid for 8 people. There were cobwebs everywhere, the shower used by 8 people couldn't drain water so we practically bathed in our own bath water, Kim was on leave, so we really could only speak to her once. Our towels were not changed, and so we're our sheets, things i specifically enquired about and was assured will be done. There are things in the ceiling I presume mice, they are disturbing at night when you are sleeping. I am giving it one star because there is no zero star. It was a horrible experience. Kim gave us an extra free day to make up for the booking mess but it really did not cover the misleading information and the dirtiness of the place."

  "We had a lovely time at Klein Borland. The cottage was spacious and had everything that we needed. The garden was just as spacious and our kids and puppy were able to play. Besides the bugs, the place was clean and well looked after."

  "We really enjoyed the 'plaas' atmosphere.Thefour bedrooms and three bathrooms worked very well for us ... we were 8 adults. The bedding in the one room was not up to standard.They can work definitely on the glasses. We were celebrating a 60th birthday with champagne, but no wine glasses! Meisie and Nick were very friendly and helpful."

  "I really liked the farmhouse ut us huge and nice the only problem however is the place needs to be cleaned there are so many spider webs and the couch is quite dirty and dusty a bit of air freshener will also help. Lovely place and people are good though."

  "We received a warm, friendly welcome. Every thing that we needed to know or use was shown to us. We were very impressed about the place as it looks exactly like on the advertising pictures. It was a nice and quite place. We will definitely recommend the place to your family and friends. And we are intending to visit again and stay a bit longer.
