The only improvement that I would recommend is another breakfast option, that gives a guest the choice of another meat option except for pork.<br/>but otherwise keep up the excellent standard and service."

  "The best service ever! They called us to check if we were fine as we were late to check in. The hospitality from Zama and staff was absolutely great. The TV had no color but Zama made sure it was working the next day and Thompsom the security guard tried to fix it but it was the cable that were changed earlier on and I was impressed by him helping. Zama also saved us time by booking in advance at Forever Resort and we were really impressed as it saved us time to queue. Well done Zama you and your team are the best!"

  "To whom it may concernAs a happy couple celebrating their 3rd wedding anniversary we left the hustle and bustle of johannesburg to relax and reconnect in the tranquil Bela-Bela. We booked at Meloding guest house specifically because it was outside Bela-Bela which meant peace and quiet, there will be a heated swimming pool where we could lounge next to all day, relax in a jacuzzi when we wanted and be spoiled by the staff and the view for the entire weekend.This was however not the case at all, and sitting at home back in Joburg we feel bitter and disappointed about how we spent our Friday night. It started as we drove into the premises, a fire was burning in the backyard as we approached the gate, shacks were all around people just walking around on the premises. As if we didn't feel unsafe enough yet, we phoned at the gate and the person answered without questioning who we are or what we were doing there the gate automatically opened. Our fear grew. As we drove in the fire in the backyard gave the impression of a cheap place and the caravan in the yard seconded our thought. We raised concerns to the lady in charge and she assured us that the manager will be there in 30 minutes. We waited around an hour with no show from the manager so we left. That was pathetic. The lady said she will phone us as soon as the manager arrives. 3 hours later we returned without the phone call to demand our R1350 back as this is not the type of weekend we had in mind. We spoke to pumulani about our concerns and he was helpful in a sense even after making us wait for him for 4 hours. As if all of that was not enough he said that the heated swimming pool was broken!!!!!!! The actual reason why people leave the big city to go to WARMBATHS?!! That was very unprofessional not to tell us before we booked that the pool is broken, otherwise we definitely would not have booked with you. My wife was very upset as she looked so forward to it. Then we went up to our room, which was very beautiful but little did we know more problems were awaiting us. We went out to dinner and showered before, my wife alone had warm water to bath in, when it was my turn the warm water was finished. When asked why were there not enough warm water we heard that the geyser was broken and the plumber came to decrease the temperature on our geyser! Our fan in our room was broken and we couldn't sleep the whole night because of a constant clicking sound, clicking every second for 8 hours was torture. The breakfast this morning was great but could not cancel every single bad thing that happened the friday. We were booked for tonight as well but we left as soon as the clock struck 10. then we couldn't book for saturday night anywhere else as every place we phoned was fully booked. Our fate was to drive all the way back to Jhb after just 20hours.I think you are absurd to charge R1350 for a room thats geyser is broken, fan is broken, pool is broken and crap lay around the back of the guest house. You must be honest with guests when booking, i for one will not go back as i am disappointed and my wife heartsore that these are the memories we now have of our 3rd anniversary.I am anticating your response ASAPWalter [email protected] from my iPad"

  "Me and my partner booked into the Meloding Guest Lodge while in Bela Bela for the weekend, from arriving at the property were made to feel very welcome by Pumulani. We were booked into the Falcons nest room which was absolutely stunning, very large room, very clean and so comfortable. My partner a massive sports fan was particularly impressed with the dstv in the room with all the sports channels so he didn't miss the rugby and football.I would definitely recommend Meloding Guest Lodge to others looking to stay in the area! Special thanks to Pumulani, for offering to go get food for us and looking for a garage for us after having car troubles!"
