35 on Washington offers four en-suite rooms, tastefully decorated in a blend of antique and modern furniture. The guest house is set in a beautiful garden filled with roses and lavender, and there is a small swimming pool.
Three rooms are full suites, with both sitting and sleeping areas, and all en-suite bathrooms are modern, fresh and light. Secure on-site parking for up to five cars is available, and the guest house is also wheelchair friendly.
Out of rush hour, it is only 20 minutes to the centre of Cape Town and the V & A Waterfront. Tygervalley Waterfront and shopping centre, cinemas, the Bellville Velodrome, and several restaurants are located nearby. The winelands of Stellenbosch and Paarl are only 30 minutes away, and Cape Town International Airport is just 20 minutes away.
Tours and outings to various destinations can be arranged on request, with massages and reflexology available on site.

09 October 2012"I am an elderly bloke who needed to over night in Cape Town and this is written from that perspective. 35 on Washington is on a quiet street in a quiet suburb. It provides the comfort of secure off-street parking. The reception is relaxed and low key. The people are friendly but unobtrusive. My room was secluded and quiet. It was spacious, decorated with nice taste and very comfortable. It provided everything that an itinerant traveler could want. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The ensuite bathroom was immaculate with both bath and shower. Breakfast was continental and reflected the Polish origins of the proprietress and was more than adequate. I recommend this B&B highly to anyone with similar needs."
