  "Highly overpriced for the place. Sorry to say that but the cottage we stayed in was a cottage with five beds in it (two floors but the second floor is pretty shaky) so tiny and definitely needs an upgrade. The restaurant on the property is good."

  "The room was a little on the small side, but comfortable with all the required amenities. Nice little lounge area, and upstairs bedroom. <br /><br />The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food at the restaurant was excellent. Loved having everything we needed on the premises, didn't have to venture out in the night to find a place to eat - and we even had family from Ladysmith pop in and visit us at the lodge for drinks and some cake. The owner, Jos, greeted us with a smile and friendly welcome each morning at breakfast :)<br /><br />Great location, not too far to Royal Natal and Didima / Cathedral Peak for some excellent hiking.<br /><br />Enjoyed playing with all the dogs, all super sweet and friendly. Would love if they had tags, so we knew their names :)<br />"

  "We arrived and were told where our unit was. It was the biggest disappointmentt of our lives. We were four adults and had paid R1800. The chalet was super tiny and extremely hot. The aircon was not sufficient to cool the place down. There were 2 fans for the rooms which would not have made a difference. The place was not even worth one star and the TV did not work. We asked our money back but they moved us to 2 better chalets which was fine. The restaurant makes excellent food and our waitress Sandra was a wonderful caring person. The swimming pool is in the middle of the restaurant so we didn't feel comfortable using it. I would not go there again as it seems to me they make enough money from the restaurant and bar and the accommodation is second on their list. We were treated well though and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would just rather go to a quieter place next time as there is a lot of noise from the restaurant and bar. Not my scene but thats just me. If you like a vibey place this is for you. Loved their friendly dogs."

  "The person we spoke to was rude to my husband when he asked that someone must meet us outside as we were getting lost and didn't know where number 11 was (rondavels are not marked and there are no signs). He said that it was a Sunday afternoon and no one was going to come welcome us. My husband told the man that we had stopped by the sheep's kraal and wanted more directions, the man told my husband to move from there because he is not going to sleep with the sheep there. He was sooo rude. He was also shouting on the phone. When we finally found #11 after driving around the property aimlessly, we found that it was a self-catering chalet with corrugated iron roof. We had paid for a B&B rondavel @ R1370/night which is more expensive and we got a cold self catering chalet @R790/night. We had booked for 2 nights but after such an awful experience we decided to look for another accommodation, so we left in the morning."

  "We stayed at Bingelela before an ultra marathon. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The beds were comfy and we have a wonderfully delicious meal in the restaurant that night. Jessica the manageress, made an effort to ensure we had a take away breakfast pack for the morning. And all this for a reasonable price. Bingelela would be a good option to explore the area as well."

  "We enjoyed our stay. The chalets were very nice and comfortable. Loved the interior design and has everything you would need to relax. Had some very nice pizza at their restaurant. The only thing we missed was hiking around the B&B. We had to drive a bit to get to any hiking place..all in all a nice place!"

  "Initially i was somewhat disappointed with the location as I had expected the establishment to be closer to'the Berg'. As a B and B for short overnight or weekend retreats I would rate Bingelela as very good but for longer visits there are shortcomings as there are no onsite activities offered for children/teenagers and therefore one needs to travel to other Berg establishments to partake in activities like hiking, abseiling, quad biking and horse-riding. However their restaurant is excellent and we never tired of their menu."

  "my parentsstayed at Bingelela over the long-weekend, Mr and Mrs Mariemuthu.They enjoyed it thoroughly, because they called me all the time to tell me what a wonderful time they were having.....They appreciated the peace and knowing my dad being a Pastor, He was overcome by God's creation.Everything aspect of life for him always relates back to the Lord.You really do run an excellent establishment,and I've being told to go there myself.....When and if I do get the free time, your place would be the first to visit and stay over.One more thing....My parents enjoyed the food....now that is hard to find anywhere you go.Well done and may you continue to prosper and grow in your business."
