The rooms are sunny & homely. Each room is uniquely decorated with a different piece of South-African artwork. "Travel unique, stay somewhere unique"
"The addition of DSTV to the individual rooms would a win."
"This hotel is very convenient for the airport. Several restaurants and the East Rand Mall are within a few minutes drive. It is located on a quiet street in a residential area. The onsite restaurant also has a good menu if you choose not to go out."
"Hotel was excellent, food was fantastic, staff very nice. I will stay again and hopefully bring my wife next time as she will love it"

"I was quoted R780 for a 3 night stay at afrique boutique hotel. Wow who wouldn't jump for that opportunity? After paying for the booking I was told that it's R780 per night and the lady who issued the quote didn't add the 3 nights together, ok accepted it and paid and the management was very accommodating as they allowed my wife to stay for free and upgraded the room. First night we noticed blood stains on the duvet, reported it to the junior manager and all I got was a disgusting face, the lady that cleans then told my wife that the other lady didn't change the bedding, ok I can live with that. On the second night we went out for supper and returned to the hotel to find the passage flooded due to a burst geyser. We waited a while until the passage was swept and opened our room door to find that our room had also been flooded as the water had seeped under the door, got into the room and noticed a few things wet including my iMac. They had changed our room and we moved our stuff. The next morning my wife had used the spa facility and told the junior manager as to what had happened and she was very clued up as to what had happened. I took my iMac to the local computer store to ask them to check up and I had been told that the iMac cannot be repaired as it had taken a bath. I then reported it to the hotel staff who said they would inform management. I had no feedback on the day so I told the day staff on the next day and overheard the lady telling the junior manager what had happened to my iMac and the junior manager had just replied to saying SO? We had received a bunch of flowers to say sorry but that does not cover the R13000 damage and unprofessionalism. Up till today I have not received any feedback or apology."
"Thank you for your hospitality for me and my family. I had an amazing stay with you humble staff. Thank you."
"The rooms were very nice and well kept! The dining room was also alright though we only used it a few times."
