Annie's Cottages

A two-hour drive from Cape Town takes you through the picturesque fields and country towns of Caledon and Napier, to Bredasdorp. Close by are many places of interest such as Arniston, De Hoop Nature Reserve, Elim, whale-watching spots, De Mond for the birders and Cape Agulhas, the tip of Africa, making Bredasdorp a very central place from which to explore the Overberg area.

Annie's Cottages are two thatched self-catering units situated in a quiet area of Bredasdorp. The Cottage was built in 1856, with two double bedrooms and The Annex has one double bedroom with a further two beds in the loft. A pretty garden separates the two cottages, each with their own outdoor entertainment areas. Both cottages are tastefully decorated and well equipped with all the home comforts including compact satellite TV.

Annie's Cottages is only five minutes away from a great 9-hole golf course and the Heuningberg Nature Reserve with its hiking trail, home to over 200 endemic plant species. The interesting shipwreck museum and some excellent restaurants are also close by. For birders, blue cranes are a feature of this area.
