• "Worst experience of my life"

  "We were terribly misled by the write up of the establishment. In nature means Bundu bashing to get to your apartment. You need at least a 4x4 and not a BMW to get there. Minutes away from the beach is actually 3,6km away. There is SABC 1, 2, 3, but don't expect to see anything because the signal from the bunny ears is very bad. Bring along led lights for load shedding but it means the electricity supply to the property is not enough which led to several power failures.To make things even worse we were given all the rules after arriving and after settling the account in full. The "best rule" of all is that you are not allow to have any visitors whether it is your adult, single, non-smoking, non-drinking daughters or brother who wanted to come and visit you for a quiet cup of coffee. They are not even allowed to park outside the premises. Luckily our daughters booked at an alternative guest house and the management there welcomed us with open arms and allowed us to visit and use their facilities to make us feel at home."

  "Our son got married on the 11th Jan 2014 on the beach at Brenton and we occupied 4 apartments for a period of 5 days and were very happy with the facilities and Poppie and Theuns went out of their way to make us feel at home and helped us with making our stay and wedding a success. The weather down the entire garden route was atrocious for most of the time but on the Saturday it was perfect..... we would like to thank them both for their hospitality and hope to visit them again in the near future"

  "Our family had a truly remarkable experience while staying Bay-View Apartments. Our hosts, Poppie and Theuns, were such lovely, helpful and hospitable people and we would once again like to thank them for making our stay a real treat.The location itself is an ideal place for those who seek being in contact with nature and rest from the everyday hustle. The view from the living room and main bedroom is absolutely breathtaking.The beach is situated very closely to the place and it's really beautiful and clean.There are plenty of local attractions which are located in a close vicinity. Truly, you will not be disappointed."

  "My husband and I had booked the Sugarbird cottage for a few days. On arrival, we were advised that we could make use of one of the two bedroom apartments for no additional fee. The apartments are extremely neat and tidy. The kitchen has all you need for self-catering purposes and the apartments have a stunning sea view. The hosts, Poppie and her husband are extremely hospitable and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

  "This was truly a most remembered holiday. I cannot even start to tell you how firendly and hospitable the owner Poppie and her husband Theuns is. These people make your stay cumfotable, pleasent and easy. Nothing is too much. The accommmodation is tasteful and beautiful, the atmosphere is tranquil and peaceful, your views are awsome. This is a must stop."
