Blue Dolphin Guest Suite offers guests comfortable and cosy self-catering accommodation in the popular hamlet of Brenton on Sea some 15km from Knysna. The property is a short distance from small secluded beaches and a 5 km stretch of beach ideal for long walks that stretch along this pristine coastline.A wonderful destinationfor the nature lover seeking a relaxed environment to return to after a day on the beach or after exploring the beautiful Garden Route.

The Suite, which comprises the entire ground level of our 3-level log home, offers a private entrance, a large private terrace and a spacious living environment serving as an ideal base from which to explore our beautiful area.

The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom that is fitted with a walk-in shower, toilet and basin.

The open plan kitchen and living area is well equipped and offers a fridge with freezer, 2 plate gas burner hob, microwave oven, toaster, coffee plunger, and Nespresso capsule machine. The living area has a large bar counter and chairs for easy dining, as well as 2 comfortable couches for relaxing, reading, playing board games or watching the generous selection of DVDs provided for Guests' entertainment. A smart TV with access to free WIFI is available to guests.

Guests can make use of the outdoor table and chairs, 2 sun loungers as well as a Webber BBQ "braai".

Our property offers solar power as an alternative energy source.

Allocated covered parking within the property, offering automated access control, is available for guests at no additional charge.

There are 2 restaurants, a small convenience store as well as a Deli and Coffee Shop which are within close walking distance and within close driving distance a few other restaurants to choose from. This offers guests welcome options should they prefer to dine out.

Birdlife is exceptional & the Knysna Turaco, bushbuck and mongoose frequently visit our property. Pets are not permitted as we enjoy visits from our wildlife.

Guests can also enjoy more leisurely walks along Fishermans walk on the Brenton Cliffs some 100 meters away from us. Take time to sit on one of the many benches along this walk and enjoy the views that stretch the length of the rugged coastline. During the months from June to November the Southern Right whales visit our coastline and can often be spotted from our upper deck or Fisherman's Walk. Dolphins and Humpback whales as well as orcas are often spotted throughout the year too.

"This flat in a quiet cul-de-sac was the ideal getaway for us and proved the perfect base for exploits in and around the Knysna area, without having to pay tourist prices. The small TV takes you back in time and if you're not hooked on DSTV that won't be an issue. The owners are very friendly without getting into your space and are able to point you towards the tourist traps but also their own little gems - like the local eatery. We will definitely go back and I'll recommend them to anyone looking to explore the Garden Route."

"We stayed at this lovely garden flat for three nights and it was really a little slice of home away from home.Klaus and Linda were extremely helpful ,friendly and an excellent example of South African hospitality.The early morning coffee outside on the patio with birds singins in the trees and guinea fowl on the lawn was a perfect start to the day,Spotlessly clean on arrival too.Excellent value for money.Go there for a great and affordable getaway."

"My wife and I stayed here in February 2012. The wooden log house was amazing and our hosts, Linda and Klaus who live upstairs, were really nice, friendly and keen to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The fabulous beach is only just down the road and you can see the sea from the patio. The accommodation was very clean and spacious but suitable only for two people, as access to the shower/toilet is through the bedroom."

"What an awesome experience we had. Linda and Klaus were wonderful hosts, the house is neat as a pin and the area is just out of this world. The most enjoyable holiday ever! The beaches are fantastic and a stone's throw away. The area feels safe and it is only a few minutes from Knysna. I will definitely be returning soon. The only problem with the stay was that six days is way too short."

"Most enjoyable and very comfortable stay. Guest flat very well equipped and best value for money. Beautiful surroundings and safe environment. Linda and Klaus are both wonderful people who welcomed us in a wonderful manner, attended to queries, supplied us with information about the area and made us feel at home.
