  "We stayed at Brenton on Rocks for our honeymoon. The honeymoon suite has an absolutely beautiful view of the ocean. The beach is a stones throw away from the guest house and Knysna is easily accessible via a scenic drive with an amazing view of the lagoon. Brenton on Rocks is beautifully peaceful and quiet - the perfect place to rest and recoup. Nico and Mariska are wonderful hosts, making sure that their guests are happy at all times! Our room was perfect with a beautiful large bathroom which can both be serviced on a daily basis if you so choose. Highly recommended and we will surely be back!"

  "Semi-self catering units with the most gorgeous view of the Knysna sea. Pity we only stayed at this 4-star for only one night, but such a comfortable, yet luxurious stay it was! Worth another visit. Beach was 6km walk down the road, with Buffalo Bay in sight! Such a bonus."

  "Wow, wow and wow. What a fantastic view, what great rooms, what great service, and such a shame we had to go.I must say I have stayed at hotels, and Guesthomes around the world, but nothing comes close to this in this price class and 4 star experience. The rooms are cleaned everyday, the service is amazing, and the rooms are great with a very large bathroom. Also the private parking under roof close to the rooms is a plus point.The only minus point is it is a bit of a drive to Knysna (about 10-15 minutes), but the scenery is breath taking. Also, in Brenton on Sea there not much going on. Not even a petrol station. Small town, fantastic Beach though. If you want privacy away from the crowds with a feeling of being pampered, then this is place for you."

  "Brenton-on-rocks is a fabulous getaway spot. The spectacular view and luxurious finishes leave you feeling spoilt and relaxed. 5 minutes walk to the beach plus a small pool with wooden deck and tanning chairs perfect for summer. The weather can be a problem but that's knysna! The double room with kitchenette is quite small but cleverly designed so you a couple can be comfortable. The hosts are friendly and helpful and I would certainly recommend it for a long weekend or perhaps a little longer."
