  "Everything was good until Wednesday. On Thursday am, the owner asked us to pay the oustanding money, told him full payment was made & will send PoP in the evening as I was on my way to work. Thursday PM, he said outstanding money was not paid and arrived in our room with a piece of paper with his banking details for payment to be made. I sent him an email with PoPs of the 2 payments I made to Safari; I had made full payment by 05/05/18. On Friday at 707h45, owner said that my 1st payment was for R2485 when I had paid R2500, My husband explained to him that Safari probably took off their portion & then paid him. Owner was perplexed & not happy that he was not paid in full, mentioned that he will call Safari at 8am. This is extremely embarrassing and it is unacceptable to be treated in this manner when full payment was made prior to arrival. Surely you have an agreement and SLA with your suppliers; is your supplier not aware of this & that he should not harass guests?. We travel extensively & often book with Booking.com in SA, Botswana & Namibia & have NEVER once encountered an experience of this nature. This was my 1st booking with Safari.com & will be my last one.RegardsSithara (082 461 7690)"

  "The place is clean and everything you need is there, John and his wife were very accommodating and helpful, John always ready to help, even with the parking of the cars, Doone Cottage is not far from Brighton Beach which is a beautifull beach, quite and clean. Thank you John for the wonderfull stay."

  "The accommodation is well maintained and very neat and clean. The hosts are friendly and even moved one of their cars out of the garage so that we could park both of ours. We will definitely be returning to Doone Cottage and I will most certainly recommend this venue."

  "The cottage was quite suitable for my family and relevantly well equipped, clean and very private. Could see a part of the ocean from the lounge. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it to anyone. It would have been perfect if the couches in the lounge would have been more comfortable. Overall Good place."
