Big Tree Guesthouse

Big Tree Guesthouse is situated in the heart of Brits, and has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We offer four comfortable rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms have tea and coffee-making facilities, TVs with DStv and bar fridges.

There is a dining room and an outside braai area for all guests, and all meals and lunch packs are available on request. We have safe parking and are within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

Brits is a modern, developing town surrounded by fragrant citrus groves. Attractions include the De Wildt Cheetah Research Centre and the Vaalkop Dam Nature Reserve; a nature reserve to enthusiastic birdwatchers where more than 340 bird species have been recorded.

"We stayed in room no 2. Unfortunately there was a room above us. Every step that was taken by the top guest woke us up. Even when he woke up early we heard him walking. That is very desturbing especially if you are a light sleeper. What about a full carpet to cover the floor and damp the noise?"

"Room was lovely, clean and the kitchenette was useful. We were asked to leave at the latest 9 when the rules and the website says we can leave at 10. We did not like that as we felt we had paid enough money to get the full benefit. Breakfast should be included at that rate"
