Athenian Villa
Athenian Villa welcomes you to a little piece of the Greek Isles in the Overberg. Set in a side lane off the main road, one can lose sight of the little town of Caledon, and imagine oneself in Mykonos or Santorini, the setting is so authentic.
We offer nine individually decorated guest rooms, each with toilet and shower facilities. Rooms are also equipped with DStv, wall heaters and fans. Please note that the Athenian Villa has a flight of stairs leading to the rooms.
The courtyard is cobblestone, cascading with overgrown plants and flowers, making it an ideal place for breakfast or a barbecue.
The building itself has a grand history being one of the first in the town of Caledon, and the faade, which is a National Monument, overlooks Donkin Street. Above is a huge balcony where one can spend lazy afternoons reading or sipping tea.
Other nearby amenities include a golf course, a 4x4 track and quad bike racing. We are conveniently located close to the casino, and it is just a 20-minute scenic drive to the seaside town of Hermanus, famous for whale watching.
Athenian Villa offers secure underground parking, conference facilities and can accommodate groups of up to 16 people. Peter and Carol will go out of their way to make sure every guest has an unforgettable stay.
