In the heart of the Klein Karoo we offer a magnificent experience and nights rest. Klokkies B & B is located 3 km outside Calitzdorp in the Gamka Valley. The guest house has some of the best views in the district.
Our air-conditioned rooms consist of two single beds per room, and each room has its own bathroom. Spoil yourself with beds fitted with electric blankets, and room service. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. Blankets and towels are provided. Each room has a kettle with delicious homemade biscuits. Braai facilities are available with wood provided. Breakfast is available at an additional cost.

The Calitzdorp region is known as the Port Capital of South Africa and can be found on the Route 62 or as others know it, the Garden Route. Visitors have a wide range of activities in the area which include wine tasting, many walking and cycling routes, 4x4 trail, horse riding, fishing canoeing and much more.

From the minute I sent through the email requesting a quote till the time of our departure, the service was excellent. We were greeted personally by the owner, our requests were dealt with promptly and everything within the rooms were neat and clean. We will definitely be staying over again... and again... thank you very much."

Situated on a hill looking over the vineyards and the mountains, we just spent our time sitting outside reading a book, having a braai and on the Saturday we went to go and do some wine tasting and grape picking at the nearby winefarms, The host was also very kind in providing some braaiwood, meat and cutlery. Lovely escape."

The rooms were very comfortable and had most of what one would need for an overnight stay.We had another couple with us, and wanted to have our supper at the establishment. Food that we had brought with us. Yvonne kindly supplied us with crockery, cutlery and even wine glasses for our wine. As we were on route from Cape Town to Danabaai for a long weekend, we had food that required refrigeration, no problem to Johan, he provided us with a fridge for the night.The views from the rooms and verandas are absolutely stunning. There is a 360 degree view of the farm and vineyards, with Calitzdorp in the distance.Should we ever need to sleep in Calitzdorp again, we would definitely stay at Klokkies."
