Kleinplasie Guesthouse

Kleinplasie Guesthouse is situated on a smallholding only two kilometres outside of Calvinia. The accommodation is ideal for couples and families looking for self-catering or bed and breakfast accommodation. Kleinplasie also has a popular coffee shop and restaurant frequented by the locals.

The accommodations comprise four double rooms, with modern facilities and two are equipped for self-catering. All the rooms are fitted with fridges, TVs with DStv and have tea and coffee-making facilities.

Onsite guest will not only find a coffee shop but also a beautiful garden to relax in, braai facilities and a dam for swimming in the warm summer months.

"Very comfortable 3 star accommodation. However, when making our booking the establishment advertises that there is a restaurant and it also advertises that it is a B&B. When checking in, I asked about restaurant facilities and was told that it had closed a long time ago. Also when I asked what time breakfast would be served the response was " Oh, do you want breakfast? That is not included and will be an extra R65 each". Misleading advertising is the issue here. The breakfast was excellent and I did not mind paying the extra as it was good value for money however, a B&B should have the price of the breakfast included in their tariff."
