Calypso Beach Cottage

Calypso Beach Cottage is a lovely four-bedroom self-catering house ideally located in a secure estate right on the beachfront. Calypso Beach, Langebaan is a peaceful area on the west coast just 120 km north of Cape Town.

Calypso Beach Cottage can comfortably accommodate up to night guests and comprises four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a spacious open-plan lounge, dining, and kitchen area. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed. The second and third bedrooms each contain twin three-quarter beds, and the fourth bedroom contains a double bed and a single bed. Linen and towels are provided. The first bathroom contains a shower, the second bathroom contains a bath, and the third bathroom contains both a bath and a shower.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a fridge-freezer, a microwave and a dishwasher. In addition, there is washing machine and a tumble-dryer. The dining area boasts an eight-seater dining table and chairs. The spacious comfortable lounge area includes a built-in braai and a TV with DStv. The lounge leads out to a large veranda with outdoor furniture, and a weber braai. Off-street parking for two cars is available, and garage parking for one car is provided.

"We were welcomed by Hugo and were advised to contact him for anything, which we did not need to do as the accommodation was just as the photos depicted. Everything we needed was available and as 8 girls away for the weekend we felt perfectly safe. The house was clean and tidy with a lovely private beach. Langebaan town was just a short 5 minute drive away to either shops, restaurants or Club Mykonos. Would definitely recommend this (not so little) hideaway."

"We stayed at Calypso Beach Cottage as a family - 5 adults, 1 pre-teen and 1 toddler. What an amazing house to stay in! The minute we walked in the door, we felt welcome and at home. House is tastefully decorated and yet still feels homely. House is literally metres from the beach and all you hear is the waves and the seagulls - what bliss!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would readily recommend the house to anyone needing a bit of time away but still wanting to feel at home! We can't wait to book the house again."
