  "The staff was really friendly and accommodating.The breakfast buffet was the best, and we enjoyed the variety of foods that was available. The room was great, a bit small, but it was clean, neat and comfortable. The only problem with the room was the shower, when we took a shower the whole bathroom floor would be completely wet. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the beach, and the lagoon lodge is situated in a beautiful location, where all the shops and restaurants were nearby.We definitely enjoyed our stay, and will be back soon. We will also tell our friends of Crystal Lagoon Lodge, and we definitely recommend it to other people, especially couples seeking a break in a great place!We really enjoyed our stay."

  "A pleasant surprise exceeding all our expectations. A beautiful room with fantastic sea views, all the amenities we could wish for. Dcor that belong in a 5 star establishment adds value to the experience. At breakfast you can sit for hours enjoying the sea view while enjoying the sumptuous breakfast on offer. We can highly recommend this establishment with the utmost confidence. If you do not book here you will miss out on a top class establishment.Only negative is those stairs! To carry suitcases up and down the stairs detract from an otherwise top establishment. A porter would be great!"

  "The accommodation was lovely , although the non-sea facing room is rather small. We had a king size bed in the room , and that also perhaps contributed to the room feeling a bit cramped. Lodge is well located and the ground floor garage was convenient to park the bikes and car as their would have been no place inside.<br/>The spiral staircase was not enjoyable for me and we stayed on the 2nd floor. Getting to and from the room was a dizzying experience.<br/>Breakfast was lovely, but the wifi reception was not consistent and we eventually gave up."

  "Fitments very stylish but fell down in places e.g. Curtains difficult to pull, shower head leaked and we fixed, hair dryer broken. Needed air conditioning as rooms got very hot in afternoon when sun reached them. On the plus side the staff were very helpful and pleasant, view fantastic (except from honeymoon suite with a building site next door), pleasant walk along the dunes, beach beautiful. Could be excellent, just fell down on details"

  "This is a small Bed and Breakfast that is situated right on the beach. What makes it so great, is that you feel like this might be your beach house. It is not very large, which adds to the charm. The only reason I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars is because it doesn't offer much beyond basic amenities. Even so, its a spectacular place to stay for a quick getaway."

  "The lodge is really beautiful and our room had a stunning view of the sea. The interior is very nicely done. It was a wonderful stay, however I do have two comments. There was no soap in our room, at all - so washing hands or even showering was a bit pointless. The breakfast that was included in our price was delicious, however we were not informed about how it worked and ended up waiting 30 minutes for eggs, by which time everything else was cold. Apart from this however, it was a wonderful getaway and I would recommend it to any couple."

  "The lodge has a fantastic setting. The mini bar is well stocked and at reasonable prices. The bed was awesome in a large room with "open plan" en suite. The breakfast was minimal, but enough to start your day. It would have been nice if the restaurant served meals at night. A bar to sit at would also have added to the atmosphere."

Will definitely be coming back (with kids), as I couldn't stop telling them about the lodge being so close to the beach.   "We stayed at Crystal Lagoon Lodge for one night on 16.2.2013. Service was friendly and they were willing to accomodate us with breakfast earlier than their normal starting time. Room was clean and modern and we had a good night's rest. Breakfast was very good and due to great weather we could have our breakfast on the deck overlooking the lagoon, again with friendly and fast service. I would have appreciated airconditioning in the room and rooms are quite small, but keep in mind that the price per person including breakfast is very reasonable. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it."

  "I had a lovely stay, thank you, but there are a few things that concerned me and I'd like to advise. Our bedding (though clean) was stained yellow and had blood marks on it. Not just the duvet cover but the pillows had blood spots and one had old miscara marks. The towels were also stained. This was a big dissappointment as the guest house is really lovely and situated in the perfect spot. We noted when we arrived that the ashtray allowed for the room on the balcony hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupants. Just small things that could have improved our stay. Otherwise the staff that served us in the dinning room were excellent and friendly. The front desk manager could've been a little more personable perhaps by asking how I stay was when we checked out. But that's not something that wouldn't make me return. I would return but the bedding and towels need to be updated and clean."

  "Our stay at Crystal Lagoon Lodge from 26 to 31 December 2011 was perfect, relaxing, enjoyable and awesome. The room was lovely, luxurious, and comfortable. Breakfast was to die for and we are still craving the fruit cocktail! The personnel were extremely friendly and helpful, and everything was managed well and smooth. We stayed in one or two other guest houses as well during our holiday, and we cannot even compare them to Crystal Lagoon Lodge, even though they were 4 Star accommodation. We are definitely going back there as soon as we can. It is situated in the perfect spot and we truly miss the view we enjoyed while having breakfast. Therefore I would like to rate them a 5."
