Baviaanskloof Lodge - Country House -- Your Gateway to the Baviaanskloof. Baviaanskloof Lodge - Country House is situated only 2km from the Baviaanskloof Nature Reserve's main gate in Cambria. Our establishment offers "comfortable country accommodation", we are the only establishment with a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast package, making our hospitality unique in the area. With our private en-suite rooms we are able to accommodate a total of up to 10 guests sharing, in 4 different rooms. The Lodge has a cosy communal living- and dining area, with a generously stocked fridge in our honesty bar with a small variety of beer, soft drinks, ciders, wine, whiskey, brandy and our very own Baviaanskloof Lodge - Country House branded water.

"Incredibly friendly staff and great food, a bit more information on the activities/ site seeing in the area would be useful (Brochures, maps etc...). Great for a stop over before entering the main reserve, not much to do there. Lodge is in local farming area. They are currently working on updating their website."

Lodge vervalle gebou wat baie aandag kort, Die kamers en ander vertrekke glad nie op standaard om R1700 'n nag te vra nie. Met aankoms net 5 minute vertoef en dadelik begin soek na ander verblyf vir die nag. Die Lodge gee defintief 'n slegte naam aan SafariNow, sal hierdie Lodge vir geen persoon aanbeveel nie.</div><div><br /></div>"

"Pathetic establishment! The price is ludicrous, the property is below sub-standard and is completely misrepresented on your site! Unfortunately the photos were the only gauge we had as online bookers. A perfect online booker's nightmare - to the extent where we didn't even wanted to stay over, so we rather settled for a late night's drive to family 450km away. If we knew what it really looked like (carpet age and condition is a joke!) we wouldn't have considered the venue at R500 for the night. So much for hospitality at neigh on a thousand rands!!! We were tired, dusty and hungry...our worst overnight experience ever!!! And all of this after we decided to never use another online accommodation booking site again...tragic! We will seek recourse if we don't get our money back, based on misrepresentation alone - not to mention the inconvenience! The one star rating was only to comply with the field's mandatory requirements!"
