The guest house was built, decorated and now managed by Marie St. Arnaud. Brought up by a domestic and food science teacher, she is the driving force behind Shepstone's exclusivity and attention to detail. Her top priority is to ensure customer satisfaction, such that the guest house will be known for its excellence.
All the luxurious rooms have en-suite bathrooms and are equipped with air-conditioning. To help you relax in the early morning or late evening, each room has its own kettles with coffee and tea-making facilities and hot chocolate. To add to the relaxing experience and comfort, each room also boasts its own full bouquet DStv. Our rooms are further fitted with safes for storing valuables, as well as some of our finer touches, like hairdryers for the ladies and coat hangers for the gentlemen.
The guest house has received a 4 Star rating and is gradually making all the improvements to receive that extra star. Shepstone Guesthouse places a strong focus on a healthy and tasty dining experience. Our foods are lovingly prepared by an in-house professional chef. Dining at Shepstone Guesthouse is casual and the atmosphere is relaxed. The cook welcomes any requests to ensure that the food is always a taste sensation.
As Shepstone Guesthouse is a popular retreat for travelling businessmen and professional contractors, whom often stay for several days at a time, we are glad to provide our guests with lunch packs to take to work, or for the long road back home. These are provided at a small additional cost.
