Drakensberg Views

Drakensberg Views is a beautiful self-catering house situated on a 40-hectare protea farm in the heart of the Drakensberg. The house is ideally positioned between The Drakensberg Sun Resort, Champagne Sports Resort, and The Nest.

This luxury self-catering house can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests and comprises three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, two of which are en suite, and an open-plan lounge, dining area and a fully fitted kitchen. The first and second bedrooms each contain a double bed, and the third bedroom contains twin single beds. All bedrooms open onto a lovely sunny patio which has panoramic views overlooking Cathkin Peak and the magnificent Drakensberg Range. In addition, there is a double sleeper couch in the lounge that can accommodate two guests. All linen and towels are provided.

The house has a large, sunny open-plan lounge and dining room and a kitchen which is fully equipped. DStv compact bouquet is available. Double carport parking is provided. Pets are permitted by prior arrangement only.

There is plenty to do in the area, including walks in the Drakensberg Mountains, horse trails through a private game reserve, canoe trips, and, for the more adventurous, a forest canopy tour. For all golf enthusiasts, there is the nearby Champagne Sports Golf Resort. This 18-hole championship golf course has been rated as South Africas most beautiful golf course in recent years with the club house rated in the top 5 19ths holes in South Africa.

"we had an incredibly relaxing stay at Drakensberg Views and would happily recommend it. The facilities were great with plenty of space and gorgeous views. We were three couples with young toddlers and we were all very comfortable here. Great bedrooms with our own full bathrooms. It was the small things that really impressed us. Anita and Rob were fantastic and so efficient! Thank you so much, we will be back."

"A lovely private and spacious holiday home, comfortably furnished with outstanding views of the Drakensberg. For those who are activity-driven, there are a variety of facilities within a fifteen minute drive, including mountain biking (Mt Splendour), canopy tours, river-rafting, quad-biking horse-riding and hiking from Monks Cowl. For the more sedentary folk, just laze on the patio and soak up the peace, or take a drive to Valley Bakery for delicious home-baked meals and treats."
