Situated in the heart of the ever popular town of Knysna, guests will find a modern and stylish self-catering apartment on the second floor of Seahorse Court. The apartment is situated two blocks from the popular Waterfront and Knysna lagoon, with excellent restaurants and pubs.

The apartment is also within walking distance from the town centre with its many shops, malls, restaurants and coffee shops. Seahorse is a modern apartment which has been finished to a high standard and is beautifully decorated.

It consists of two-bedrooms, which are both en-suite. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and the en-suite consists of a bath, toilet and basin. The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds, and the en-suite consists of a shower, toilet and basin. All linen, towels and bedding are supplied and are of high quality. There is an open-plan lounge with diner and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, stove and oven, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery and all utensils. The bright, airy and comfortable lounge leads through double glass doors onto a balcony which overlooks the Knysna Waterfront, town and surrounding hills. Guests have the use of a colour television with the standard SABC channels, as well as a DVD and CD player. A satellite dish is available, which enables guests to bring along their own DStv decoders and smart cards.

Access to the complex is via an electric gate and secure parking is provided in an undercover carport. Seahorse can accommodate a maximum of four guests. This is a non-smoking apartment.

"Well situated 2 blocks from Waterfront. Within walking distance of everything in town. We had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Knysna itself was rather disappointing in terms of seeing anything interesting, so I would suggest staying no more than 2 nights."

"Overall we really liked this place and our comments are mostly positive.The positives - The apartment is very clean and comfortable and is in a great location. It is a very close walk to the waterfront with shops and restaurant's and is just around the corner from a supermarket and ATM. There is secure off street parking. The owner provides a great little folder with heaps of info like his favourite restaurant's to try, the closest laundry etc.The negatives - The main draw back in this place for us was the cooling. It is a two bed apartment but only one small fan is provided. If you open the windows and door you do get a fantastic breeze through the apartment. However, there are no screens so at night you also get quite a few bugs. If the heat doesn't worry you or you are travelling in winter I would highly recommend this place. Our other negatives were the light and noise. It gets light VERY early in S.Africa and we found that the blinds were not sufficient to keep the rooms dark past 5am. Add to that the noise of pigeons that seem to be encouraged to live around the apartment by neighbours and sleeping becomes a challenge.In saying all that I would go back purely for the comfort, convenience and the friendly owner."

"We enjoyed our stay, there is nothing you need to take with. The owners thought of everything you would need. It is close to all the shops and you do not need to drive, it is situated in a good area. The flat was clean and tidy, we felt at home. The owner made us feel welcome and did not interfere with us during our stay. We could rest at ease. Thank you so much."

"The accommodation is lovely - spacious and has everything one would need- from hair dryer to iron and ironing board - (oh sorry no washing machine !!! but do you really want to wash loads whilst you are away in such a beautiful country!The accommodation is in a block of apartments with secure access for vehicles.The only downside maybe that you have to climb two flights of stairs to get to the top- however we did not find this was a problem - it probably was a benefit as it was the top floor and you had views from here.The accommodation was so comfortable yet smart at the same time and it was a great benefit to have two en suite bedrooms.Restaurants were all a short walk away as was the Waterfront.A truly splendid spacious apartment"
