"1) The name is deceiving as it is not a B&B.
2) We were greeted by the host who smelled of alcohol.
3) Very Noisy.
4) Bathroom floor was wet with lots water - we had to use one of our towels on the floor.
5) Shower curtains were dirty and mouldy
6) Had to sign indemnity form on arrival
7) At 3AM, the host, entered the accommodation after we had locked up and was surprised to find some of our youngsters awake as they were too scared to sleep.

Personally this- it the worst place I stayed, it's not a place for a family. suitable for male backpackers.

ESTABLISHMENT RESPONSE:

It is unfortunate that you were not satisfied with your stay. You and I had been in telephonic conversation even before booking and it was made clear what kind of accommodation we offer. The quote sent and the pictures on SafariNow are not deceptive. You selected us for our price and opted for self-catering. We are one of the best priced venues in the city, and this is because we offer basic accommodation without the frills, hence dormitories and communal living areas.

The points you raise I would counter as follows: The host, which is me, smelled of alcohol. I do drink beer and wine, so perhaps you did pick
that up. If I was drunk there would be a concern, but I wasn't and don't believe there is anything wrong with having a drink or two. It was only your family and a mother and daughter (who had an en-suite bedroom) who
were in the house. So your comments regarding noise and the water on the bathroom floor are due to your family. The property is serviced daily and the bathrooms were clean when you arrived. The shower curtains are
washed in a washing machine on a regular basis. Yes I do expect my guests to sign an indemnity but this is common practice and the wording was provided by my insurers. The TV was on at 3am and I heard it from my flatlet. I went into the communal lounge to check if anyone was watching or otherwise I would switch the TV off. The kids were watching TV. I
greeted them and left, I didn't even ask them to turn down the volume as they were part of the family group. Again I don't see what is wrong with me going into communal areas. I don't know what they mean by 'scared', they were just watching TV.

Kind regards,
Bryan"
