"The setting and the canals."

"The flat was not clean at all. The cutlery, crockery, surfaces, cupboards, carpets, gas griller and other furniture were very dirty. The sofa had its days and was also extremely dirty. The bedroom sliding door is broken and we had difficulty in opening and closing it. The shower door was broken. Bathroom bulb fused. Single beds were not comfortable. Bedroom blind is broken. The light in ensuite bathroom and the extractor fan working together was a nuisance. DSTV decoder is very old. Would really not recommend this flat to anyone."

"The best aspect of the apartment was the location within a 2 minute walk of Canal Walk shopping Centre. The apartment needs a revamp. Carpets are very old. The bathroom in the main bedroom is very small and nowhere to place toiletries. Cobwebs around lights in main bedroom and a few cockroaches. Had load shedding 3 x a day and no inverter. Well equipped unit."

"Fortunately everything about the hotel was exceptional, and I don't give praise lightly. It was clean, stylish, roomy with great value for money and service was good from the entrance by the security gate. Room itself was well equiped and comfortable. We could go on but suffice it to say we were very pleased with our stay, and although short and sweet this time, we hope to be back for a longer visit in the future."
