Each cottage has an individual balcony from which to greet the day, and is surrounded by an abundance of wild life and nature.

Breakfast is served overlooking the shimmering Indian Ocean, and where evening barbecues are the norm for those wanting to take in the evening hue. Sun-drenched days are spent swimming in a turquoise sea, or strolling the golden beaches. The conference package includes all meals, accommodation and morning and afternoon teas. "I loved almost everything except the outside lamp at the was not working . Am allergic to dust if the ceiling fan wings can be cleansed even if its bi monthly and the maintenance of lights. Staff attitude very good everybody who is an employee arevery pleasant."

"Great spot, however accommodation is in a gated complex where no-one is available to answer the phone or respond to the 'buzzer' to open the gate after hours, hence getting into to your unit after dark is not possible."

"The management and staff of Crawfords Beach Lodge went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. From the reception desk to the waiters in the dining hall, all were extremely professional. This attests to thorough training and maintenance of standards. Our room had a beautiful view of the beach, was within easy walking distance from the dining facilities and it was spotlessly clean. When we returned from dinner that evening, a welcoming chocolate had been placed on our turned-back covers. This attention to detail did not go unnoticed either. :)The chef and kitchen team also need to be highly commended on the excellentbuffet they provide: thereare a variety of products for each stage of a menu, incredible flavours and textures whether you are looking at starters, main course, desserts or cheeses and crackers. The beverages in the adjoining lounge,where they also keep a welcoming fireburning,are also accompanied by three delicious types of cookies. All in all, a culinary delight! I need to add that I, at a personal level,have enjoyed meals (some booked and others impromptu), overnight stays and two day workshops here for work purposesover the last eight years and cannot ever recall having had a disappointing meal or experience.This family has therefore convinced me that they believe in service excellence. "

"We, a couple in our early forties, enjoyed every single bit of our stay. While Chintsa East and West and the beaches are closest to what one could consider as heaven, Crawford Lodge left no wish unfulfilled. Splendid food, clean, spotless rooms, caring and highly-attentative staff members, amazing location and a well-euipped lodge complemented our stay. It felt like being in a 5 star hotel without being forced to dress up. Casual clothing was all we needed. We will come back...again...and...again."

"Although it was only for one night, the stay was quite okay.The steep hill which has to be taken to get to the reception area and back, is not that ideal.Rooms were clean and buffet dinner, was great.Next time I will definitely stay for a longer period."
