Allandale Farm Citrusdal

Allandale Farm Cottages is located on a working tea and citrus farm in the mountains bordering the Cederberg Wilderness Area. Activities in the area include hiking, mountain biking, 4x4 scenic drives, and fishing and swimming in the river.

The first cottage is more rustic, sleeping up to 12 people, while the second cottage sleeps up to six guests and features a private Jacuzzi. The farm is located on top of the Middleberg Mountains, which is part of the greater Cederberg Mountain range, and has two mountain streams running through it.

Located just 9 km outside of Citrusdal, the two guest houses offer very safe and private self-catering accommodation away from all the traffic and fast-paced life, where you can relax and enjoy every moment in peace.

"Arrived at 16:50, our receival was the slam of a bakkie door so hard i thought the door was going to fall off, our hello was met with " i phoned you twice this morning, let me show you the house!"....and that was it, no hello no bye. This is my second time here and although i like this place we unfortunately wont be supporting again."

"Baie netjies en skoon, ons het waarlik niks kort gekom nie. Baie dankie vir die ekstras wat beskikbaar was, ons was regtig veras. Ons was na die tyd lekker uitgerus en ontspan. Very neat and clean, we really did not want for anything. Thank you for all the extras, they were a great surprise. We were well rested and relaxed after our stay."

"What a wonderful place! The tranquillity of the surrounding mountains add to the peaceful nature of the house. The rooms are well kept, and the braai area and Jacuzzi add a wonderful touch. The approach-road is difficult for a small vehicle and we had some water trouble, but a wonderful stay overall."
