Cederberg Cottage

We invite you to come and live in the spirit of Africa, in the peace and quiet of the Cederberg. This is not your usual farm stay holiday, but a chance to really forget about everything and relax without a cell phone or anything else that makes you remember there is a life in the city somewhere.

We offer self-catering cottages with bed and breakfast facilities, and should you feel like a good, hearty home cooked meal, we can cater for that as well. The farm has a choice of four houses or cottages to choose from, namely The Annex, Die Kliphuis, The Cederberg Cottage and The Cederberg Chalet. Bed linen is provided, but please bring your own towels.

Enjoy the outdoor barbecue areas and the magnificent starry skies on those peaceful Cederberg evenings and explore the attractions of the farm and vicinity during the day.

  • "Disappointing"

    09 September 2018

"Lovely setting in the cederberg. The host is warm helpful and friendly. The cottage is rather small with basic furniture. It was a very cold night. Cottage was very cold. We had no running water in the morning. No showering. Our baby fell il during the night which made for a disaster morning. We decided to leave after one night."

  • "Lovely peacful spot"

"We had a lovely stay in the chalet. The cottage had everything we needed and was very peaceful. The owners were very welcoming and open, and offer pony rides for the kids. Would definitely reccomend staying here, if you want to be away from the crowds on a long weekend in the cederberg."

  • "A great spot to get away to"

    23 July 2017

"The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay, with a well equipped kitchen, braai facilities and a stoep with a lovely view. The farm is in a beautiful setting and is a great place to relax. The attractions of the Cedarberg such as hikes and wine farms are an easy drive away. Although all roads are dirt an average city car (Hyundai i10) can cope easily if driven with due care. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again, perhaps in summer to try out the pool!"
