"Nothing like what it looks like on the website. Labourers lurking everywhere, staring at you as soon as you drive in. Old rusty burglar proofing all along the outside. Terrible smell as you enter. Dark dingy old. Dank. Took one look at the outside and the deposit was worth forfeiting to say somewhere even half decent. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable just driving in!"

"This facility is filled with old world charm. The self catering cottages are beautifully renovated with refurbished antiques that give the modern rooms a rich of class. The beds are very comfortable and linen crisp. Staff are all polite and helpful. Breakfast was good. Be prepared though that this place is still going through some renovation so please make allowance for this. Also met the owner who shared his vision for this hotel and his passion for old things being made new. Well done to the owners for giving this place a unique feel and good luck with the rest of the renovation."
