"I loved the hospitality and friendliness... but I did tell the hotel that it was my birthday that friday under the notes but not even a wish from the front desk I got"
"IT WAS GREAT CLEAN EFFICIENT AND WELL SITUATED"
"The room is spacious, NEAT, Clean and has all amenities! Homely."
"Please improve breakfast."
"Great same as last time this room was even nicer than the last. TV channels still rubbish though, like to watch international news in the mornings CNN please! Back again soon hopefully."
"Friendly staff and very tidy un modern rooms"
"Clean and staff very helpful and friendly"
"Great location, friendly staff. TV channels were not good when we were in the room (not long). My DSTV commercial package is way better.Overall enjoyed our stay and will return for sure :)"
"We loved staying at the Cape Town Lodge although the lifts are officially the slowest in the Mother City and an evangelical priest started screaming at 6 in the morning on the TV (according to hotel staff some previous guest must have set the TV because the remote was metres away) and then at 06:30 we received a wake-up call even though this was not requested and a staff member clearly got confused with a tour group that was staying in the hotel. Except for this, everything was pretty much perfect and great value for money."
"Spacious room; clean and beautiful decorated rooms; fine dining experience . In this day and age internet (WiFi) should be readily available in a hotel like the Cape Town Lodge. For Christs sake we are in 2017; not the 1990s. Wifi should be complementary service. No one should have to pay to access WiFi at a big plush hotel. That was the biggest disappointment for me. I was dumbfounded. Smaller lodges and B&B offer WiFi as a complementary service. It beggars belief why a 4**** hotel doesnt offer WiFi."
"The staff was very friendly.Food excellent and the barman Frank great.Coctail was made to perfection."
"Really enjoyed my stay at Cape town lodge hotel. Everything was so neat and tidy and very comfortable. Even though it was only for one night. Will be coming back for sure."
"Overall we enjoyed the stay. Staff was very friendly!! Bathroom, room and bed was clean and comfortable. The few problems that we had was that the burgers we ordered for room service was very dry, the shower head does not move so to wash long hair under that was very difficult, I had to bend right back to get under the water. The blind next to dressing table stood away from the wall and I had light in my eyes while sleeping. They should also look at the balcony door, it seems it is bend and does not open or close easily. I would also suggest an extra plug at the dressing table. I used a flat iron for my hair and had to plug the light out or the TV and both was not really an option. The extra plug they do have is not infront of a mirror.<br />"
"Cape Town Lodge Hotel was a pleasant surprise! Comfortable, affordable with lovely staff, it was indeed a very pleasant experience!<br /><br />My only criticism was the R60 overnight parking fee; a detail notmentioned when I booked electronically. I also felt a little annoyed bythe fact that our motorcycle (an adventure machine) had to be pushedinto a very tiny (truly!) corner (bordering on the exit lane). ChargingR60 (the same as for a much larger type of vehicle, viz. a car / 4x4 /station wagon) seemed to be an unfair comparison.<br /><br />Other than this our experience has been very pleasant.<br /><br />"
"<p>I only stayed over for 1 night but couldn't have asked for a better hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and the room was muchbetter than expected and for the price it was absolutely worth it. That is now my new favorite place :).</p><p></p>"
"The stay was nice, however, when we arrived there, we were welcomed by a very unfriendly receptionist. My husband and I have been to many hotels and never have we experienced such coldness. I must say though when one of the regular customers came, obviously a foreigner, she almost jumped over the counter to greet him. When he left she immediately went back to her cold attitude and rumbling the rules off to us. It felt like we have been categorised. Well I don't think I will be staying there anytime soon. Your front desk should be the image of your hotel, and if that is lacking, it makes everything that are actually nice not so nice anymore."
"The hotel upgraded my booking for a regular double room to the loft apartment. The apartment was amazing. It had everything we could have asked for and was clean and comfortable. The view from this loft, room 904, is breathtaking! I would recommend this hotel to anyone needed a place in the Cape Town cbd!"

"Rooms were much smaller, less luxurious than pictures - also a R400 deposit was required on arrival that wasnt mentioned in booking fee, and parking fee of R100 a day also not mentioned prior to booking"
"Neat environment and conveniently located."

"Hotel is very nice and perfectly maintained. The staff are helpful and professional. The room that had been given to us the first two nights were really spacious with a very nice view of Table Mountain and all the facilities in the room. The hotel has a very nice restaurant and the food is of excellent quality."
"I was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere and standard of the Cape Town Lodge. The spacious rooms and finishings all through the lodge are very well done and leave you feeling at home. The only problem I had was with the internet payment which did not show on the system at the lodge and they wanted me to pay again. This was resolved luckily."
