19 August 2006"I stayed for 3 mid-week nights at the Cape Diamond Hotel on a business trip. The hotel itself is very pleasant - the rooms are lovely, comfortable and clean, and the staff was friendly. The hotel is also very central and hence ideally situated if your business is in the centre of Cape Town.My only gripe would be that the area where the hotel is situated is somewhat unpleasant at night - if you go out after dark, street children harrass you and shady characters loiter on street corners. Best to stay in after dark, unless you're the adventurous type.Overall I would recommend the hotel for business travel, and would certainly look to stay there again under similar circumstances."
