Hathorn's Beach Cottage

Hathorns Beach Cottage is a rustic family beach cottage situated on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal overlooking the world-famous diving site, Aliwal Shoal.

Facilities at the beach cottage are basic but comfortable - whitewashed walls, concrete floors and open shelving. The cottage can accommodate up to fourteen guests comfortably. The beach cottage is situated on 20 hectares of dune forest overlooking the beautiful ocean. Only a short walk on the bush paths takes you to either the beach or the river. The beach is very secluded; it is wonderful for swimming and features plenty of lovely rock pools.

The cottage features three double rooms, as well as a bunk room that accommodates six guests. There are also two day beds in the lounge area for extra sleeping space. The cottage contains two shared bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a shower-over-bath. The kitchen is well equipped with the basics for family dinners around the huge oregon table.

Please note sleep 14 ( maximum of eight adults and six kids).
