Here visitors can savour all the serenity and beauty nature will bestow on them all day long from sunrise to the brilliant night skies.
We offer two air-conditioned, self-catering apartments comprising a fairly spacious lounge and dining room with a kitchenette, a bedroom and a bathroom. The units are truly accessible for physically handicapped people, and each apartment features a veranda with a deck as well as a barbecue area which is also accessible for people in wheelchairs. A sleeper couch in the lounge converts into a very comfortable double bed. The kitchenette is equipped with a two-plate stove, fridge, microwave oven, kettle and toaster. All linen and towels are provided. Our apartments are tucked in a quiet and safe valley on a Rooibos tea estate in the midst of the wealth of the Cederberg plant life and renowned wild flower displays from late winter to early summer.
"Very friendly service from Chris and Annette with them sharing info on Rooibos. Lovely unit in a unbelievable garden"
"Very peaceful and comfortable accommodation. Nice garden to be able to walk around. Very friendly and accommodating hosts, who certainly know their Rooibos!"
"We loved the fact that the venue is a quirt retreat in nature. Qakung to the sounds of birds and the farm animals was refreshing. Our breakfast was delicious and even my husband, who dislikes rooibos, loved the peaches stewed in rooibos and the rooibos bread! It's lovely to find a disability friendly venue, althogh the bedroom and bathroom doors are a little tight. The hospitaluty of the hosts was overwhelming!"
"Peacefully n harmony, but there were no room services for 4 days.. No changing of linen."
"Wonderful, quietness and clean air. Very relaxing in comfortable accommodation. Charming hosts."
"We had a relaxing time during two nights on Elandsberg Eco Tourism. Beautiful surrounding, nice garden with many birds.<div>We enjoyed the rooibostour with Chris an the bobotie Annette made for us.</div><div>A television would be great!</div>"
"The owners are very kind and helpful, but the establishment is very old and need a renovation. They advertise wheelchair-friendly, but this is not so, only the toilet in the bathroom has a handle..The bedroom is too small for the wheelchair, etc,We are very surprised where they get then 3 star rating from. It is actually at least 2 star."
"This venue is unique. Certainly it could be Paradise! Hosts Chris and Annette were fantastic! This is most certainly a place that one would return to."
"A beautiful, well appointed location close to the Cederberg. Lovely hosts - I really wish that we could have stayed longer. Next time, we will."
"A beautiful and peaceful retreat."
"Amazing location - so tranquil. Such warm and friendly hospitality from Chris and Annete. Nothing was too much trouble and both Chris and Annete had a wealth of knowledge. Bird life fantastic. A truly refreshing time!"
"Interesting Rooibos Estate and Fynbos tours. Lovely and peaceful."
"Very nice stay! Wonderful wildlife and perfect place to relax."
"A 4x4 was a bonus when driving to this wonderful guest house on a Rooibos Farm. Chris and Annette made us feel like family. Our room was simple but spacious, with great views. The evening meal, taken with our hosts, was really quite special. Breakfast on the veranda with the view and spectacular garden, is a never-to-be-forgotten experience! Our trip around the Rooibos Farm with Chris, coupled with his wealth of knowledge of the local flora, will always be remembered. We'll be back!"
