Hydro Room is a modern home in the secure quiet suburb of Larola, Clarens. The couple that live in the home are happy to share this one bedroom with visitors who prefer the comforts and company of a home. The room offers a bedroom with a full en-suite bathroom and a queen-size bed. It has its own entrance. There are built-in cupboards, and underfloor heating in the bathroom. The room also has Netflix as well as complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities. All bedding, towels and soap are provided.

Hydro Place offers a carport which is behind an automated gate. Guests are welcome to make themselves at home on the covered patio or in the garden. The patio furniture and braai facilities are available for guests use should they wish to stay at home and not eat out.
The Clarens town square, surrounded by its galleries and top quality restaurants, is only a short drive away. The Clarens bakeries, and courtyard coffee shops are within walking distance.

"No communication possible led to a waste of money"

"I was booked in to sleep at the Hydro Rooms on the night of 20 November. That afternoon on the road between Senekal and Ficksburg I hit a pothole and blew a tyre. I managed to drive to Ficksburg where I stopped at a garage and contacted Mercedes Benz roadside assistance. I tried to call the Hydro Rooms on the number given but kept being told that it was an invalid number. I believe I did have poor reception, but Mercedes Benz also tried contacting Hydro Rooms and had the same problem. The Mercedes Roadside Technician also tried calling from Bethlehem as he was prepared to drive me to Clarens while my car was towed to Bethlehem . But obviously the lack of response from Hydro Rooms made it not worth his while to do this for me as we had no way of telling whether the room would still be available if I arrived later in the evening.Travellers are very promptly warned about no refunds for cancellations on your website, but in this case I might still have been able to enjoy the accommodation for which I had paid if only a usable phone number had been provided. Mr Erasmus the technician can so confirm he also received a .message that the number provided did not exist. We also double checked it on the website and can confirm we were dialling the "correct" number.I feel this inability to communicate with the accommodation provider has cost me the money I paid as despite the breakdown of my vehicle Mr Erasmus could have taken me to the Hydro Rooms if we had only been able to communicate with them to discuss a late arrival time.I want a refund."

"Had a lovely stay with biddy and Marc. Lovely couple and playful dog lilo. If you looking for something homey then yes if looking for your own private space no. We had a super week There and Biddy and Marc were both extemely accommodating"
